Taverna Perissa is well known for adding money to people’s bills, hoping they won’t notice. They’ve had multiple reports of this, as well as using credit cards to charge in varying foreign currencies to suit them, but cost you more. Avoid this restaurant. If you happen to visit, check your bill very carefully.

We arrived late off the plane in pre-tourist season so not much was open in the area. Our server was lovely though and talked through what they could make for us that was vegan.
