Read moreMy kiddo had a quesadilla and we asked for a special dish ( quinoa with tomato sauce) and they happily agreed to it. It was delicious and I really appreciated the flexibility to accommodate the special request.

We came there for a later lunch around 1:30 p.m. on a Friday and were the only guests the whole time.

Staff only spoke Spanish but they had an English menu.
To our surprise they also seem to have a brunch menu, starting at 9 a.m. So potentially the opening hours in Happy Cow are not up to date anymore.
We had the steak sandwich, was super good and the Buddha Bowl which was alright but not as tasty as at The Green Place.
The drink menu is a little disappointing regarding refreshing drinks: Mainly bottled stuff.
But overall the food is very good and we would come back next time to try some other dishes.

I love everything here, their tacos are all amazing. The salsas are amazing too. And everything I've tried from the lunch menu so far I have liked. This is my favourite place to come in pv.

I ordered 4 different tacos and ended up ordering seconds of the milanesa because it was so good. I definitely recommend this spot for tacos! (They also do paninis and gringas.)

3 stars for now (I will re-evaluate on my next visit) - Edit
3 of us stopped by for lunch. We ordered 4 Tacos Pastor with wheat base protein, 1 Seitán al Chimichuri, and 2 Tacos Alambre along with 3 Aguas del dia. 20 minutes or so after ordering, the very nice, friendly and polite server came by and asked us if it would be okay to change the Taco Pastor and the Seitán Chimichuri to a mushroom base because they were out of the meat replacement proteins. We had been waiting for quite awhile so we said okay. Now, I have no complaints about the food that we got as everything was quite delicious. My disappointment comes from the fact that we didn’t get what we originally ordered and it took too long to inform us. After all, one of us also ordered a chocolate dessert it that too was delicious. We’ll see if our next visit grants Te Quiero Verde a couple more stars.

Service was great, and I appreciate that there is a fully vegan restaurant in PV. However, we tried about 4 different tacos and they all tasted kind of the same. They weren’t super flavorful or different from one another. We also got the molcajete, which came with a bunch of different vegan meats (which all tasted pretty much the same). My favorite thing about this place was their vegan cheese, which was very similar to Mexican Oaxaca cheese.

Visited Te Quiero Verde as part of our Vallarta Vegan Food Tour (which is fully recommend). What a great spot! Beautiful decor, friendly staff, and amazing all vegan food!! We were doing a taco tour so we enjoyed their mushroom based taco which we loved!! Would definitely come back to try one of their other menu items. Felt the vegan love while in this space!!

Best vegan spot in Zona Romantica - Edit
I don’t know how I missed this place before! Delicious sandwiches. I got the high protein seitan tortas. Protein is always top of my priority list when looking for veg food. Came here after the gym down the street. Got a few sandwiches to go to have vegan food on the go. Friendly staff as well!

We tried almost every taco on their menu and they were all super good! Their cheese (potato and pea based) is sooo good. Food is also very filling and their Jamaica flavored water is really good too!

This place was so sweet from the workers to the dog to the menu! I tried quite a few tacos here and were delicious - the wow taco being my favorite. I also loved the guava water and guava cheesecake! Will definitely come back for more.

Tasty Organic Food w/ An Awesome Owner! - Edit
Delicious tacos, bowls, smoothies & creative desserts! The Alambre Taco/Gringa is my favorite! The owner is plant-based, works hard, and has a beautiful spirit, translating excellent energy and taste to the food. It's the only vegan place in PVR where you can find organic food with options other than bread, potato, or soy.

We found this place by accident! It is open on Sunday’s despite Happy Cow showing it as closed. Owner confirmed they are open every day!!

I ate lunch here for the first time yesterday and it blew me away. I had the mushroom pastor gringas and the celery smoothie. Both were amazing and I want to go back today and get them again!

We visited here last year and we’re still thinking about it when we just came back and it was as good as we remembered! I tried the gringas and the cheese was melty and impressive! If I didn’t know that the whole place was vegan I would have been concerned that it contained dairy. We also had ice cream and chocolate cake for desert and it was all delightful
