Excelente! - Edit

Great Indian food - Edit
Loved the food and the general restaurant vibe here. I got yellow dal and aloo kulcha and both were very tasty. They adjust spice levels based on your desire.

Perfect address! - Edit
Nice little indian restaurant, good food, good prices, nice staff (they all speak English too), really kind and relax place. One table on the side walk, with street atmosphere (which i like) and more tables inside. Big menu and proposal of the day with really good prices! Just try and enjoy

Flavorful and fresh North Indian food - Edit
Tempero Indiano is a simple North Indian restaurant that serves food that seems almost home-cooked. It's light, fresh and flavorful and not bogged down in oil. Nor is it over-cooked.
Read moreThe mixed veg curry made with coconut milk (R$39) was great. I also loved the dal panchratna (R$37) which had tons of ginger and garlic.
They charge R$12 for plain rice, which is annoying, but also fairly common at Indian restaurants almost anywhere in the world. I would recommend ordering the plain rice, which is light and fluffy, over the Indian basmati rice (which is perfectly fine, but honestly not as good as local Brazilian rice in my opinion).
The samosa (R$5) was tasty but small.
The service is friendly.
Unfortunately Tempero Indiano doesn't label its vegan dishes, but the staff can help you navigate the menu. Just tell them you're vegan and they will understand you. Most of the dishes are vegan by default but some do have dairy.
