I'm a little bit surprised by the former reviews, because the waitress told me that almost nothing was vegan because they use oyster sauce in a lot of the dishes. That's why I couldn't have one of the lunch menus.
Read moreBut then she suggested a daily combo plate without oyster sauce, so then the dish was tom yum, one spring roll, one samosa, rice and vegetable wok without oyster sauce. The tom yum soup was spicy, but really tasty, but the other dishes were bland. The spring rolls contained almost exclusively glass noodles, and the wok did not taste much without any sauce.
I honestly don't think there are many vegan options here, but I might have misunderstood. The delicious tom yum soup lifts the place up to three stars.

Hello! Thanks for sharing! When I went the waitress did not mention oyster sauce. Either she did not mentioned to me, which would be highly disappointed, either they changed menu recently?

I've found that most Asian restaurants consider oyster sauce to be vegetarian. And as we all know, a lot of people (even those working in the food industry) think vegetarian and vegan are synonymous. It's possible that the other people asked if the 'vegetarian' dishes contained milk or eggs, or maybe the other restaurant workers thought oyster sauce is vegan :/
