Nowhere else to go but here and it’s worth it

The brussels sprouts can be made vegan, there is a BEET burger that can be made vegan. A few other items. It clearly says they can be made vegan, and that’s good enough for me. Cool vibe, fast moving place, nice staff. Across the street from the waterfront.

Vegan Options

The cookery was a great choice for a night out in Seward. We got the Brussel sprouts (made vegan), the chop salad (made vegan), the beat burger and 2 ginger fizz drinks (N/A). Everything was really good! There were a few Brussel sprouts that were a little too charred but otherwise we ate everything and felt satisfied.

Pros: The service, The vegan options , The atmosphere

Cons: Wish there were even more vegan options , I wish there were vegan Dessert options

Amuse bouche

The cookery exceeded all expectations. It's fancy, but in a cool casual way. They brought out an amuse bouche right after we got our drinks. It wasn't vegan, so we let them know that we're vegan, because we didn't want it to go to waste. Then they brought us a vegan amuse bouche!

They change the menu frequently, based upon what they have available. But it seems like they always have a vegan large plate and small plate. We had the brussel sprouts and beet burger.

Pros: The food, The wine, The atmosphere

Cons: If I had to pick something, no vegan dessert

Fabulous experience in a small remote town

The vegan options were delicious and thoughtfully prepared. Gluten free was also clearly indicated!

Pros: Several clearly labeled options

Cons: Better to have a reservation
