This food just wasn’t very good. Got linguine pesto which had nearly no flavor— it was strange. Boyfriend got the tofu lagareiro, which just tasted of salt. Felt like we could have made it at home. Also got the white wine sangria, which had gin of it, but it was was neon green and tasted entirely of gin. Great atmosphere, fitting for date night, and service was great, but that was kind of it. It wasn’t bad, but definitely was not good.

Attention to detail - Edit
The lunch option was great, a full starter, main and drink for the price of a main! But the quality is the most valuable, excellent food with a real attention for presentation too. Go there😄

Great experience - Edit
Tasty food, fresh ingredients, friendly and quick service and a nice atmosphere - for a good price. Only the iced tea could have used a little bit of sugar in it, but was totally fine.

I had the Burger with groa and chia patty and fries. It was delicious, though the burger could have used a bit more sauce, the buns are very dry.

Super yummy, definitely a recommendation! - Edit
The food and the service were really good - the waiters felt like friends directly! We had two starters (vegetable gyozas and cauliflower wings) and a veganized Portuguese main („Boneless Lagareiro“).

Fantastic food! Great experience. - Edit
Huge venue, I believe almost all of the menu was vegan and also so cheap. We had starters mains and desserts. Vegan wings and Spinach Croquettes (I recommend the latter). We also had crumble for dessert. The food was so filling and it was a very fine dining, classy experience but exceptionally cheap

Weird dining experience - Edit
Let's say that the food was good. So no complaints there. But what about the service. It's not that the staff was unfriendly but when we ordered, we mentioned that we had plenty of time and wanted to enjoy a nice long experience. Yet less than 5 minutes after we ordered we received our starters, before we even received our drinks. The same happened with the main courses. Straight after clearing the plates of the starters, the main dishes were there. Before we even ordered drinks for our main course.
Read moreAfter having finished our "long" dining experience in about 45 minutes I explained to the staff how I wanted my dessert to be ordered, first the drinks and then the food. That went good but when we received the desserts we didn't have cuttlery yet.
The responsible didn't care to much and when we asked for the bill they didn't even aknowledge that the kitchen passed the food too fast so nothing really was done with my complaint. Unfortunate experience because the food was good but the organisation was bad.
Another tip, clean the dust out of the fans above.the guests. It looks really disgusting.
Pros: Only vegan, Food was tasty
Cons: Organisation, Communication between restaurant and kitchen staff

Absolutely loved The Green Affair. I ordered the vegan Katsu curry, which was amazing, tasted really fresh, wholesome and homemade :). The people were lovely too, really kind and helpful! Would definitely recommend for a fancy meal out, their desserts also looked lovely! ☺️

Had the Malandrinho do Mar last night, a delicious tomato rice dish. I ate inside but understand there’s a beautiful garden in the back as well.

Buen restaurante vegano - Edit
Hemos comido para compartir las gyozas, las coliflowers wings, el lagareiro y malandrino y estaba todo muy rico, sobretodo el lagareiro. El personal muy atento y amable. Además hay un menú a elegir entre varios platos por solo 10-11€

Mmmm…Yum! - Edit
After traveling by train & bus from Faro to Lisbon we settled on dinner at The Green Affair. The reviews on HC made it a good decision but it only being a three minute walk from our hotel (The Ivens Hotel) sealed the deal.
Read moreWe started off the dinner with a bottle of an Alentejo region Syrah and the Gyoza 🥟 as a starter. Nice decision and Segway into a divine vegan meal.
My husband settled on the Malandrinho do Mar (Portuguese tomatoe based risotto) that was heavily flavored in rich tomato based flavor. I went with the Boneless “Lagareiro”. The texture and flavor of the tofu steaks matched perfectly with the roughly mashed potatoes. I took my time consuming this meal as I wanted to enjoy the meal.
We finished our meal and sat finishing our wine in the great ambiance of the restaurant.
Great dining experience and it’s a restaurant I would love to return to.
Pros: The menu, Great staff, Ambiance
Cons: N/A

We had dinner there in or last day in lisbon. as a starter we had the spinach croquettes. as a main i had a burger and my girlfriend had a traditional portoguiese dish in a vegan version. it was marinied tofu with vegan fish sauce on garlic mashed potatoes. burger was good but not the very best. the tofu was really great. in generally we totally recommend going there. ususlally its very crowded so we recommend to make a reservation.
