Modern vegan Portuguese restaurant - Edit
During our stay in Lisbon we visited this resuarsnt twice for lunch. They have a modern vegan interpretation on Portuguese cuisine. Portion sizes are good. The lunch deal on work days is good value. We paid €10.95 each for a starter, a main and a drink (limited choice). The food is good, but not mind blowing. The home made ice tea was disappointing. It tasted like mildly flavored water. The staff is friendly and the restaurant has a good atmosphere. Would recommend, especially for the lunch deal.

Really charming spot for a nice dinner and drink. The space is trendy and there are some nice vegan versions of Portuguese classic dishes. Also, the cocktails were perfect.

We enjoyed our dinner here! The location is very convenient and nice, and the food was abundant and delicious. We had gyozas, fried "wings" (cauliflower) and a main dish which was the vegan version of a traditional Portuguese seafood dish. We loved it! Service was kind and quick, and in total we spent about 40 Euros (including a glass of wine and a beer), so totally worth it!

O Green Affair é aquele restaurante que dá logo vontade de ir, por ser bonito, elegante e tudo ter uma ótima apresentação, além das fotos na Internet serem muito convidativas. Para mim, é a melhor parte. A comida em si fica a desejar, especialmente o bife de seitan que inicialmente era bom (no Saldanha), mas nunca mais foi o mesmo (no Saldanha e Chiado), sendo que a última vez sabia demasiado a vinagre. Não dá para perceber o conceito, pois é clássico meio gourmet, com fast food, pizzaria e opções de bebidas saudáveis que ficamos perdidos, mas sobretudo, tem de tudo e não se especializam em nada.

All vegan and everything tasted really good. Many different options to choose from and friendly staff. We got loads of food and were beyond full after the meal, but tried the berries with crumbles for dessert anyways.

Excellent options and very pleasant place. Me and my girlfriend really loved it. The food could have more salt, but it was good. The service definitely should do better and be friendlier. For the rest, I recommend and we will certainly go back to try the other dishes.

Super friendly girl checked our vaccine status and showed up to our table in this well laid out restaurant. Had 2 x mains followed by 2 x desserts. Names of dishes in my photos.

I had an excellent meal here - the daily soup and a vegan version of traditional Portuguese seafood dish with rice, tomato, and mushroom. Very flavorful. Service was solid. It’s a bit corporate feeling inside, and the prices are on the higher side. But the food really was excellent, so it’s worth adding to your list if you’re in Lisbon for more than a few days. Otherwise, there are more interesting places to go.

The food here was excellent. We ordered cauliflower wings, gyoza, pesto linguine, spiced fries and the Charlie Brown chocolate dessert. So full of flavour and every mouthful was a joy. Although not that keen on the chocolate moose part of the dessert - the cheese cake looked good for my next visit!
Read moreWord of warning is that you should make a reservation. The restaurant had a couple of large parties and many many empty tables but they turned away people without a reservation. Including us. Basically told us no reservation no chance! No option to make a reservation for later. So we made a reservation online and came back an hour later for a much better experience. With a reservation we were shown to a table immediately (by the same person who turned us away the first time!!).
The waiter that served us (after we were allowed in) was fantastic. Just a bad experience with the initial approach.
Well worth the hassle in the end as this was some of the best vegan food we ate in the area.

Cons: Turned away without reservations.

The restaurant looked amazing, the service was good, juice of the day fantastic but was a bit disappointed with the seitan steak which was recommended to me by the waiter. It was not very interesting, too much trying to mimic a ‘real’ steak.

Really good place to go out for dinner if you’re looking for something with a bit more upscale feel, without actually being too fancy. The waitresses were incredibly nice, as they also do give helpful recommendations when asked for (instead of just saying everything is good, as it is in a lot of places). You can easily get starter, main, desert and drinks and get a good value for your money. Went there twice on my trip, it’s definitely worth a visit.
