The Groovy Floret has a large back yard with some covered seating. They serve a wide menu with alcoholic and non alcoholic drinks. Lovely for a summers day.

Cute spot with Friendly Staff - Edit
I got a Quesadilla which was very tasty, although I wasn't the biggest fan of the corn tortilla. It was served beautifully and I loved the salsa on the side. The signature taco "meat" was well spiced and super good. It was a decently filling side dish and I would recommend coming here with a couple of friends! Prices also weren't that bad.

I’ve been here a handful of times and I’ve really liked everything I’ve tried here. Really chill atmosphere, owner and staff are great. I’d definitely recommend it to anyone who hasn’t been yet. Think the street tacos are my fave so far.

Excellent and flavorful! Creamy Mac & cheese (potato-based), zippy taco "meat" made from cauliflower, jackfruit tacos, etc. Large patio with choice of sunny or shady seats. Friendly and fun, in the heart of St John's neighborhood.

Can't Believe It's Cauliflower! - Edit
I ordered the Chipotle Kale Caesar Salad, which includes chopped kale, shredded cabbage, black beans, corn, cauliflower “meat," vegan parmesan, and smoky pepitas in a creamy, garlicky dressing. The "meat" had a good flavor and did not taste like cauliflower. Overall, a big, tasty salad.

Im vegan and my husband is vegetarian with gluten AND nut sensitivities so finding places to eat can often be challenging. We tried GF for the first time in September and were hooked. There is a variety of options (I got the nachos and he got tacos) AND neither of us had any tummy issues after, which is a great feat! We were bummed when we heard the cart was closing but are so excited to now have Groovy Floret up in our little downtown in St. John’s!

There were some major groovy times here at The Groovy Floret. I felt like Austin Powers on a plant-based acid trip with their aesthetic and it was made even better by having a 100% vegan Mexican menu. Oh yes!
Read moreI went with their Nachos ($14) which utilizes cauliflower as their vegan meat, topped with vegan cheese, black beans, avocado, and pico. The plate also included one or two flowers to really complete the vibe they're trying to achieve. My nachos were delicious and the cauliflower was quite nice as it mixed into all the other ingredients well.
While a bit pricy, I really enjoyed the nachos and would love to come back and try their tacos or salad bowls that everyone loves.

My husband and I visited this foodcart today and we loved it! We had the tacos and the nachos and both were fresh and delicious and not too heavy. We shared the black bean brownie with ice cream on top. That was also delicious! They had more things to try so we will definitely be back. The service was friendly and they play great music :). The whole food cart pod is nice and relaxed with lots of tables with umbrellas and a bathroom close by. There are also two other vegan food carts in the same pod. Highly recommend

Anyone who appreciates fresh, vegetable-forward "clean" food should find something to enjoy here.
The owner was friendly, the presentation unexpectedly delightful, and the meal a treat.

Came with husband for a quick bite. We got the maple bbq tacos special and the “tacos” (hard shelled). They were soo good! We hanged out for a while as the music was also amazing!

Went with my partner for a lunch at The Groovy Floret food truck. The owner was friendly and helpful (including giving us some other great places to visit in the area). The food is unique, creative and delicious. If I was a local I'd be hitting this place up regularly!

My uncle and I split the nachos and tacos. Everything was great! The cauliflower “meat” was flavorful and my uncle (Omni) decided that he could be vegan if the food was always like this. 😁

The owner was super sweet and the tacos are AMAZING! So flavorful and beautiful. They are a healthier option for Portland vegans, without losing any of the flavor. Highly recommend—everyone support this cart so we can keep it forever!

This food is amazing! Your non-vegan friends will enjoy it, too. I’ve been back many times and tried all of the regular menu items. The core “meat” is so flavorful it works well in whichever form you choose. The specials are always good, too. I recommend the mango iced tea to compliment your meal. Everyone that works here is fun and friendly. Go get some!!!
