Came for dinner. Had great vegetarian twists on classic Laos dishes and lots of protein rich salad bowls.

Vegan pancakes and more - Edit
Pancakes were typical Dutch type, thicker than the French type.
Read moreWonderful concept of raising money for cat care in the city. Loved the food, the option for vegan pancakes. Drinks were good as well. Lots to choose from. And if you are lucky, one of the cats will come by.
Everything was vegetarian, vegan options and plastic free!

Delicious food and environmentally friendly restaurant - Edit
The food was very tasty and it came in big portions. They are environmentally friendly which is amazing, fight for animal cause and seem to share the daily income with all staff (as it says on the menu).

Lots of vegan dishes with a "side order" of cat - Edit
Although the cat(s) come and go as they please, they may honor you with a brief walk by. But no worries, the food is delicious. We had the vegan pad Thai and pho'real noodle soup with veggies, both excellent. And then we had the vegan chocolate and banana crepe (make sure you ask them for the vegan version), also great.

Again - very delicious dinner! - Edit
Yesterday I tried the Kapow! dish. Stir-fried basil leaves with tofu, mushrooms and veggies. Comes with wholegrain rice. Had the Lao spicy variant which was exactly my taste. Very delicious!

During our 3 day stay in Luang Prabang we eat here everyday. Staff is super nice. Nice cozy atmosphere and all dishes are vegan, but you can add egg and for breakfast they offer egg and cheese. Loved the shots and the locally brewed kombucha.

Great vegetarian food but adapted to foreigners - Edit
I had a tasty bowl and enjoyed it. The food is adapted to foreigners to some extent though , a bit more than the Two Little Birds Cafe, but really tasty.

Thank you so much for your review! :D
Read moreWe're sorry you choose the more freestyle vegan cuisine bowl, instead of one of the 7 plant-based Lao/Thai dishes on our menu, we are very proud of them!
But we are very happy you enjoyed the bowl as well. Thanks for your visit and if you come back please try our fiery Pad Kapao, or our traditional local favourite the Luangprabang Khao Soi😄Nothing 'foreign' about those! ;-)

I’m really annoyed I forgot to take pictures of our food. This was the nicest food we ate in Luang Prabang. I went with a mix group including none vegans and they agreed! Was very tasty and staff super knowledgeable and friendly

Hi, thanks so much for reviewing us. Sorry we didn't 'wow' you 😔
Read moreAnd thanks for noticing that our ingredients are fresh and healthy. And no, our menu cannot be compared to street food prices, the wood-oven baked sourdough bread you had for example, doesn't come at the same price as bulk bought plain rice. We hope you and other customers understand this.
Enjoy your time in Laos! And maybe next time one of our other dishes, such as our colourful and protein packed vegan savoury bowls, or one of our delicious smoothie bowls with home made granola will leave a better impression 🥲🙏❤

Hi, thank you so much for your review!
Read moreWe are so sorry about a weird scent though!? We keep the place super clean and this would be immediately addressed had we noticed! We do sometimes have problems with people stepping in things on the street and walking it inside our place though, maybe it was that? Super embarrassing, we will do our very best to stay aware of any unwanted scents in our place.

Utterly obsessed , all of our Laos food highlights are from here - Edit
We cannot say enough about this little cafe. It’s vegetarian but extremely vegan friendly. We ate here twice a day, almost every day for the 6 nights we spent in Luang Prabang.
Read moreWe tried almost all of the baguettes, our highlight definitely being the scrambled tofu baguette (with extra vegan garlic mayo). We also had the nutty noodle salad and the super power satay tofu bowl which were both delicious, especially the super power satay bowl!! And the banana pancakes with peanut butter and chocolate are absolutely amazing. The coffee is also great here. The owner, the staff, the atmosphere, the food and the lovely cats and dog sparkles that sometimes make an appearance meant that this place was a huge highlight during our time in Laos.

Cafe with cats - Edit
Really yummy food with a great selection. Menu is super clear and vegan options prevelant. A lot of sustainable nods - metal straws etc.

In fact, we are the first plastic free cafe in Luangprabang, so all our take away packaging is fully biodegradable. The bench you took the picture from for example! :D
