Pathetic Options-Zero Imagination

If you like salty chips then you’re winning. But if you want options, move along as there’s nothing to see here.
They have 2 veg pizzas, with the ability to change the cheese for almost $5 more, greens as a side dish (mainly beans) and a salad (option available-they can’t even make a salad with an animal ingredient?).
Considering how many companies are making fake meat, having not even a burger or schnitzel roll lacks any consideration or thought.
Better is expected of a family running such an iconic pub among several others business in the area.

Pros: Nice looking place , We’re advised after payment wedges were not vegan

Cons: Lack of choice , Far too expensive for such little choice

Vegan pizza

Huge serves on the pizza. Tasted good with pretty nice vegan cheese. Good location in the main street of Hahndorf.

Pros: Vegan options clearly labelled, Nice location and venue

Not much choice but what they do have is pretty good!

Haus is a German influenced modern Australian style restaurant in picturesque Hahndorf. They don’t have heaps of vegan options but those they have are marked on the menu relatively clearly. When I went I had the vegetarian pizza and subbed out the real cheese for vegan cheese, which was quite yummy! The pizza was a very large serve as well, and they are happy to give you a box to take left overs home.

There was also a vegan curry on the specials menu that looked pretty good too.

As long as you’re not too picky and don’t mind only having a few options, you should be able to enjoy something yummy at Haus next time you visit.

Pros: Yummy food, Big serving size

Cons: Only a few vegan options
