Great food and great service - Edit
Amazing menu. I wish I could have been able to try more things because everything looked great. The scramble tofu was seasoned perfectly and the pancakes were super light and fluffy.

We spent quite a while in Vegas and visited many restaurants but this one was my favorite! Everything we had was so delicious! From the street it looks like a shady area but the inside is neat, clean, and has a fun atmosphere. When I found out their meat substitute was Gardein it helped us rule out a bunch of dishes because we had a good idea of what they'd taste like and knew we could make something similar at home much cheaper. But what we ordered we loved! The truffle mushroom soup was to die for! It was a bit expensive. I wish we could have afforded to eat there a few more times.

Cons: expensive , uses Gardein instead of getting creative

Las Vegan - Edit
We just went for lunch after a workout in the hotel gym. So many good things to choose from! We both had smoothies; I had a chick’n burger; my wife a breakfast burrito. We couldn’t believe how much like real chicken it was. When you’re hungry and are craving, this is amazing. We need more places like this Vegas!

Not for the non soy consumer - Edit
The menu was full of soy items. My wife ordered waffles. It was served without a knife and very little syrup poured on top. The waitress informed me that it'll be an additional charge for syrup. I had to settle for a fruit bowl and potatoes.

my new fav - Edit
Surprised to learn that this was walking distance from my hotel. Staff knowledgeable and friendly with an ambience impressive for the neighborhood. I ordered vegan chicken and waffles which came with asparagus and mashed potatoes. Extremely good.

Incredible food and friendly service. My family loved everything. For starters we had fried mozzarella balls and jalapeño poppers. The sauce that came with both was delicious. For entrees, the biggest hits were the chicken and waffles on mashed potatoes and the buffalo chicken sandwich.

The Modern Vegan has so many options. We had the Mac n cheese, nachos, and buffalo sandwhich. It was all amazing. We will definitely be back to try other things on the menu. The atmosphere is fun and laid back! This was the best vegan food I have ever had!

I'm happy to have found this place on Happy Cow! The atmosphere was trendy, food was good, my drink was perfect taste, service was great! The drink could have been a little larger or little less ice for the price but it was absolutely perfect in taste!

The Modern Vegan is fantastic, welcoming, and all around delicious! - Edit
The modern vegan has one of the largest vegan menus I have ever encountered! From incredible drinks, highly recommend the Sex On A Plane, or the Bloody Mary! To smoothies, sweets, coffee, then the food menu is just to die for. I went with the San Diego salad and seriously, it was everything I needed and more. But from burgers, sandwiches, appetizers, breakfast, everything I saw looked incredible. Staff is amazing, owners are super friendly! I have such high hopes for the place and recommend it to everyone!

friendly staff but junky unpalatable food - Edit
I found this place yesterday on happy cow and was excited to see another vegan place pop up while I’m in town. It’s only been open a week and already it’s super popular. Unfortunately, I can’t give it great reviews. On the plus side, there is lots of seating and friendly staff. On the downside, the food was hardly palatable. And although the menu is huge the gluten free options are so minimal (like two options). I ordered a vegan skillet and banana split sundae. Both dishes were deep fried and disgusting. I left half my plates uneaten. I asked a server if anything was organic and she looked confused and asked the chef who claims most was organic however the bananas and fruit behind the bar had conventional labels and carrot juice and tofu did not taste organic. Also worth noting is the female chef was not wearing a hair net 😖.

UPDATE
Read moreWell I am back at TMV and delighted with the food and service!
Well I visited there on Opening Day.
100% vegan menu (I spoke to the owner).
Plenty of gluten-free options.
I saw a lot of beautiful food that smelled great!
There were some "opening day" issues.
But I will be back!
I love the location, the decor, and the staff. The menu is HUGE and everything looks delicious! Check out the desserts!!
(I waited 90 minutes and was told they ran out of what I ordered. Hey, these things happen!! I will be back for a NERD BURGER and an OH MY GOD dessert!)

OMG!!!!!!! By far THEE BEST FOOD IVE HAD PERIOD!!!!! - Edit
TMV is whipping up that food that you would swear up and down is not #vegan! I ordered the #chickenandwaffles and the #Reuben and I’m floored at this flavor and juicyness (BTW all the food is 100% vegan plant based) even #carnivores are regulars because it’s just that good!!!! This lil mom and pop place is a true gem and is the pinnacle of vegan food! Stop in when you get a chance the owners and staff will great you with a smile and will leave you a doggy bag and a full tummy!!!

Nom nom nom - Edit
This breakfast/brunch/lunch spot was sorely needed. Not every day does one wish to trek to Terrace Pointe Cafe at the Wynn, or Downtown to Vegenation for some vegan breakfast. And to be honest, The Modern Vegan's menu selection, portion sizes, and flavors blow all the other options out of the water.
Read moreToday was their Grand Opening, and they definitely still have some kinks to work out: 1hr + wait times for food, blenders not arrived yet for smoothies, broken juicer, etc...but honestly, what restaurant doesn't have a crazy first day/month?
The food was SO WORTH THE WAIT. Let me stress that. We ordered quite a few items and when they finally did come, it was heaven.
Pros: Beautiful, Delicious food, Alcohol
Cons: Long wait (for now)
