An okay option in Inverness

I like that they have a separate vegan menu, which has 3 starters and 2 mains, it makes it easy to see the options. However, there is no vegan dessert menu and it seemed like the sorbet was the only vegan option (which is from the gelateria up the street, so you can walk up there after the meal and get a scoop for a fraction of the price). Our waitress could have been nicer and more helpful. When we asked her about vegan dessert options, she told us to look for ourselves (vegan options are not even marked on the regular menu). The gnocchi was okay, but overpriced for being £17 when all it was was gnocchi with a red sauce. Beetroot & pear salad was fair, nothing special.

A decent option, but not the best

Went there because it was recommended to us. The vegan „menu“ was not a part of the regular menu, which we found a little bit disappointing, because it means that non-vegans don’t have a chance to see the vegan options. The vegan options were very limited, there were only 2 main dishes (a chili and a mushroom dish). As a starter we had a soup and a salad which were both delicious. The main dishes were tasting very well, but not a lot of food. The personnel was very friendly.

I would give this place a 3/5 because of the very limited options, the fact that the vegan menu was not a part of the regular menu and because the portion sizes were rather small.

Excellent vegan menu

A wonderful converted church with great atmosphere, friendly staff and tasty vegan food. We had the tomato and basil soup followed by asparagus risotto with pea shoots and vegan feta - delicious. Well worth a visit if you’re in Inverness.

Tasty food and great ambiance

A great local restaurant which has made an effort to have a separate vegan menu. The food is absolutely delicious. Not cheap but not ridiculously expensive either and we found it was well worth it!
