Great selection!

The Plantbase store is a section of the Longdan supermarket rather than an actual store but it has a great selection!

The plant-based section is located inside the store on the right about an aisle back from the entrance. It consists of a series of stands with different labels above them saying "PB" (Plant base) followed by what the section is e.g. PB snacks. They have a great range of snacks including chocolate bars, sweets, crisps and healthier snacks such as rice cakes and crackers. They also stock dried goods such as pasta, rice and bread, vegan replacements such as Easy Egg egg replacer, dried meat substitutes, sauces, spreads and supplements. A lot of the products they offer are also organic and/or gluten-free. They also have a plant-based frozen goods section in the back of the store.

They also stock a lot of vegan products such as nuts, seeds, spices etc in the main parts of Longdan among their non-vegan offerings.

This is a great spot for finding vegan products not stocked by the major supermarkets such as the nearby Sainsbury's as well as getting some Asian goods much cheaper (Miso is four times cheaper here than Sainsbury's).

My only negative note would be that I found a couple of products in the PB section that contained honey so I wouldn't just assume that all products in the PB section are safe. However I'm pretty sure 99% of the products were fine so it's still great, just something to be aware of!

Pros: Great selection, Stocks products not found in major supermarkets
