Amazing Experience - Edit
I was in the area and found The Pureganic Cafe on my HappyCow app. The decor was clean and sleek so it felt like a welcoming establishment. As soon as I told them it was my first time stopping in, everyone behind the counter welcomed me and began explaining how they operate. I took a minute to decide what I wanted and then got into a delightful conversation with a woman who I assumed to be the owner. She was so nice and thoughtful and overall made me feel like my choice to eat at her restaurant was appreciated. I ordered from the buffet selection and got some broccoli soup as well. Everything tasted great! Seeing how I didn't live in the area I HAD to have more for the road, so I ordered the white bean burger, and with no surprise that was delicious as well. Before I left I was toying with the idea of taking dessert to-go as well... the owner must have enjoyed our interaction as much as I did because she offered to pay for my dessert. I was shocked she would be so generous to a first timer, but I was sooo appreciative. I got the apple carrot muffins and I must say they were the best muffins I may have ever had. THANK YOU to the entire staff at The Pureganic Cafe... next time I'm in Rye, I'll definitely stop in again.

Great Food and Service at a fair price - Edit
We were looking for clean, organic food and drinks and came across the Pureganic Cafe. Not only is the food amazingly yummy, organic, vegan, creative and fairly priced, but they also have an incredible selection of gluten free, dairy free and sugar free breads, cookies, tarts and other treats.. The staff is unbelievably friendly and helpful as well. This was a treat and we will be back often.

Went this summer - Edit
My daughter and I (both vegan) went to this place over the summer. It is a little place with a sparse menu. I had the classic burger and my daughter had the turkey burger. We shared the sweet potato fries. Everything was pretty tasteless. The fries were mushy. My daughter was still hungry so I went up to get a side of brussel sprouts. You pay by the pound. I kid you not, there were 5 brussel sprouts and they charged almost $5! Seriously? The food is way overpriced. Won't be going back! I would give this place 1 star, but Happycow automatically gives vegan places a bonus star.

Dissapointed - Edit
We did not have a good experience as much as we wanted to support the business.
Read moreFood was not tasty and portions on the small side. Had the mushroom sandwich and it was too rubbery to chew. The "turkey" burger needed seasoning.
Glass others have had better luck.

Pureganic - Edit
I had high hopes for this cafe to turn out to be a good lunch. According to the reviews and it's appearance on Fox 5 this cafe seemed to be a place to go for me, since I work near the area. However, after ordering the Falafel Bowl and the Mac n' Cheese I was left with a bland taste in my mouth. I was expecting to be pleasantly surprised for a Mac n' Cheese that cost 12.50$ and only serves a bit more than a cup. All in all the staff was definitely friendly but the price is not worth the food that lacks taste and could use with some seasoning. I expect a lot more with the pricetag and the reviews.

Yummy Healthy Food - Good Value - Edit
I stumbled upon Pureganic just by chance when looking for a quick healthy food option in Rye and I am soo happy that I found it because it was absolutely delicious. I am someone that has a very high standard for the food I put into my body and Pureganic fit the bill of what I look for in taste, quality, and freshness all while being organic. The eggplant and avocado tomato salad are to die for! The new menu items of pulled mushroom and buffalo cauliflower were amazing and as close to the real thing as I've ever tried. I also had a chance to meet the new owner who was incredibly knowledgeable and engaging in helping me not only choose my food options but also providing information on the nutritional benefits of the food I was selecting. I will definitely be coming back again in the future.

Amazing Variety of Clean Healthy Options - Edit
Being a vegan can be challenging especially when traveling (and don't even mention organic vegan) but stumbling upon this place was a happy surprise. Although this type of food is never cheap it is worth seeking out if you really care about what fuel you put in your body. This place has an amazing variety of tasty healthy clean food and if you are like someone like me who has been vegan for a few years you will really appreciate the variety and quality of the offerings. If you are looking for something cheap, and your tastebuds are still attached to animal based foods this may not be exactly what you're looking for, but if you are open minded and want to see what vegans can eat that is satisfying and tasty then give this place a go.

Overpriced - Edit
We came for lunch and ordered the trumped mushroom sandwich along with buffalo cauliflower and a smoothie. The price was almost $40, and the sizes were so small. There were no sides included and honestly the quality was what I could make myself at home. I love that Purganic is a vegan cafe down the street from my home but I refuse to pay prices for small portions served on paper plates.
