VEGAN PIZZA! 🙌🏾 - Edit
Love having a vegan pizza option on the Westside! It Detroit style and is pretty damn good! Big plus that they have vegan pepperoni!!! Also, I got the fried pickles, and they were tasty too! It is a small biz that has shut down once before and then was bought again by a couple who are originally from Michigan! So go support if you can to help keep the option here!

Their pizza is some of the best I've ever had. Their Detroit style vegan pizza covered in pepperoni is awesome! They also have vegan breadsticks and cheesesticks that are so good. Their bread is on point you'll want everything! 😏 get extra cheesesticks and marinara for later.

I am not a huge fan of this style of pizza but this was AMAZING. the breadsticks are unreal too😋 the service was amazing! We told him we were going camping and he gave us some plates and cutlery.

Visiting the area for the week and thankful to have found this place on happy cow! Had the vegan Diana Ross pizza and the ‘chicken’ wings. Wings were the best chicken substitute I’ve had and pizza the best vegan pizza I’ve had! Staff were friendly and happy to answer any questions (like what brand of cheese and dogs do they use and double checking the wing sauces to ensure no animal products). Hoping to go again before we head home.

Their vegan pizza is the best I've had! Most vegan pizza isn't great in my opinion and it's the only thing that my family felt like we were missing out on and then.... we discovered The Rec. Seriously amazing. It is kinda pricey but oh so worth it.

I love this place. The food is amazing and so are the owners and staff. I hope they are able to continue opening new locations because the closest one to me is almost an hour away. I order any time I'm close by!

Read moreMoving to Sun City, we recently found The Rec Pizzaria. This place has the most amazing Detroit-style vegan combo pizza. Not only is it hands-down the best vegan pizza I've ever had, it may be the best pizza pizza period.
This has become a weekly stop for us.

Best Veg Pizza I’ve Ever Had!! - Edit
I wish I knew about this place sooner. I was so excited to find a place in the northwest valley area. The staff are kind and seem knowledgeable about veganism. I was told that they use Follow Your Heart Cheese, switched from white sugar to vegan friendly sugar, and keep all the vegan pizza utensils separate. I’ll definitely be coming here again.
