I wish I could give them five stars - Edit
This restaurant caters to all dietary needs. My boyfriend is vegan and gluten-free, and he got his very own personalized menu. The food and attention to detail was amazing. If you are having a special occasion, this is the place to go! At night, they have a seven course tasting menu that is amazing!

Practically Perfect in Every Way! - Edit
The Restaurant at Patowmack Farm was chosen Northern Virginia Magazine's top restaurant of 2014 - http://www.northernvirginiamag.com/50-best-restaurants-2014/ - and with good reason!
Read moreI've eaten here with family and friends three times in different seasons, and the experience has been practically perfect every time. I have noted in my reservation request that I'm vegan, and each time they've prepared a special multi-course meal just for me - complete with souvenir menu marked "vegan" with my name on it. Each dish has been a wonderful mix of flavorful fresh ingredients, sourced from the restaurant's own farm.
The hilltop setting is gorgeous any time of year - we've dined under the outdoor tent in good weather, the indoor greenhouse on colder days. Service is top-notch too.
Portions are a good size for me, though some with heartier appetites may consider them to be on the small side. And of course all this perfection comes at a price - but it's well worth it if you have the money to spend!
Note: You can't give non-veg restaurants more than 4 cows on this site... but this place is definitely of 5 cow caliber.
