Good but missing some crucial items! - Edit
The quality of the food was good and fresh. Veg was well cooked. Unfortunately there were no vegan Yorkshires or cheese for for the cauliflower which was sorely disappointing😒portions were on the small side. On balance, would go back but check for Yorkshires before paying.

Great pub - Edit
Great downmarket pub with a nice pint if guinness. Staff lovely and the vegan roast on Sunday was smashing. Chef was a nice guy too. Serves meat so 3 stars max unfortunately.

Was in the pub for a drink and saw they had a vegan roast for £13. Gave it a go and it was delicious.

The Ruin is a cool little bar and has some great drinks available, and the staff are friendly. I ordered the BBQ jackfruit tacos, which did tast great, however they were absolutely tiny. I was so disappointed when two biscuit-sized tacos with a spoonful of jackfruit appeared – this, when for the same price a non-vegan friend received about a kg of chicken wings (no exaggeration). If the portions weren’t laughably small, I would have given 4 stars.
