Vegan and veggie options for a steep markup. - Edit
Elegant atmosphere. I had the curry bowl with some decent sauce, a mound of rice, and a small amount of pretty, but not tasty, julianned veggies on top. They were soggy and over salted. As another mentioned the markup to add tofu as protein was outrageous and more than meat. They did mention it could be seared or fried. Other options included a cauliflower steak, a salad, or you could replace some pretty expensive meat centerpieces with a vegan patty or slab of tofu for apparently the same price. It’s nice to have options.

Good, but expensive for vegan substitutions - Edit
This is a nice restaurant in a pretty, landmark hotel. The staff is really friendly and the ambiance is great. They have clearly marked vegan options on the menu, and while the things coded vegan are far fewer than the things coded vegetarian, it’s possible to make substitutions to make things vegan. For example, all the sandwiches can be made with either a vegan patty or tofu. But the vegan substituons are really expensive; I’m not sure why, for example, it would cost $6 to add chicken to a salad but $12 to add tofu!
Read moreI has the vegetable soup which was just ok, and a very nice salad. I saw someone else who has ordered the vegan curry and it looked really good as well. Both my dining companions were vegetarian, not vegan, and they enjoyed their food a lot. While I think this place is probably better suited for vegetarians than vegans, if you’re willing to brave the price tag for vegan options, it’s not a bad place at all to have a meal with a party of varying diets and needs.
