Holy Fried Tofu - Edit
If you're visiting Springfield, take the time to visit The Wheelhouse. We had it recommended to us multiple times throughout our visit, specifically the drunken noodles. The family running this business was so friendly and genuine and happy to help or make recommendations. We got the Kimchi fries, drunken noodles with crispy tofu, and pineapple fried rice with regular tofu. It ended up being our favorite meal of the trip! The fried tofu was so battered and crispy so I'd recommend getting that even though it's a little extra.

Great Vegan Options! - Edit
Great food! I eat at The Wheelhouse whenever I get the chance. Their menu caters to vegans with many vegan options. Love their crispy tofu texture, add it to the vegan Drunken Noodle or vegan Pad Thai, both dishes are bursting with flavor. Vegan pineapple fried rice is delicious too. Love their kimchi fries. Honestly, I’ve never been disappointed with anything I’ve ordered. Usually has vegan cake or cookie options for dessert!

Delicious vegan food - Edit
The food is delicious with lots of variety. My favorite dish was the pad Thai. Don’t grab the crispy tofu though, it’s basically tasteless fried tofu. The dessert selection was also decent with vegan and GF options. Can’t wait to go again and try other dishes.

Diverse menu that clearly caters to vegans. Have been going for years. Quality has been slipping in terms of consistency. Cauliflower is excellent!

Decent menu for takeout - Edit
I have ordered from here to work a few times from Grub Hub and appreciate the vegan options. The items are for we’re not overwhelming but decent for Springfield. It might have just been what I got which was the Wheelhouse Pad Thai- made vegan. I would like to try some of the other dishes to see about upgrading but found menu for takeout was limited on the app.

We like the Mexican Thai fusion and that we can order vegan options. They'll even grill the tofu instead of frying it. Yes please! The veggie special burrito with no cheese plus grilled tofu is yum.

The menu is vegan and you add whatever you want, tofu to meat(yuck). I enjoyed the pad Thai, flavorful would of liked a little more spice. Hubby had the drunken noodles with crispy tofu. Excellent!! We shared the cauliflower bites!! Yummy with peanut sauce and a side of vegan aloi and hot sauce!! Hair sauce!! Perfect, wings perfect. Great stop!!

I love Wheelhouse! The menu is VERY vegan friendly and I’ve never had issues when confirming my dish will be vegan. They have a delicious Pad Thai that you can add tofu to and spice to your liking.

Wish I could give it a 5-star! - Edit
I have been a fan of the wheelhouse for several years now. They offer many vegan options and I know that they use their fryer specifically for vegan items, so no cross-contamination occurs. All of their sauces are vegan, as well. As for their food... Holy amazeballs. It is SO good. Always. I eat here at least once every 2 weeks or so. I can't stay away. And neither can others because the line can get long when the weather is nice outside, but which is why I call ahead to order. The owners are such good people and I like knowing I am contributing to a local families livelihood. I cannot say enough good things about this food truck.
