Great tourist pub in the middle of London’s West End. - Edit
We were looking for an authentic British meal experience, which can be difficult for a vegetarian, as everything in England seems to center around ‘mince’. But the Nicholson’s Pub chain seemed to offer a great variety of options. The White Lion was exactly what we wanted, as was near Covent Garden and lots of West End theaters, and offered the quintessentially British dish of an English pie. My mom got the sweet potato pie (pictured) and I got a curried lentil pie. Hers won for presentation but they both tasted great.
Read morePrices seemed fair, but were probably a little high since it was smack in the middle of tourist central. We were seated and served just fine, but the place was small and filled up very quickly in the pre-theater dinner rush.
