Bit overpriced but decent sushi - Edit
They had two options of sushi that could be veganized (Yasai Maki and Crunchy mushrooms). I had never thought of putting mushrooms in the sushi, so that was an interesting suggestion:)
Read moreWe ordered both options and they were quite tasty. The staff was super friendly and efficient (we got our order very fast). The place is cozy and clean.
My only complain is about the price; I think the options were a bit overpriced...

Not the best choice for vegans in Utrecht - Edit
The waitresses are really nice but you really will spend a lot of time when it's busy. We ordered the 6 course menu and we were there for about 3 hours.

The food though was just ok, I would say. The vegan sushi is rather boring for my taste and with too much mayonnaise. The 6 course menu was definitely enough, but the mint cookies that were served with the dessert were made with butter, which we only noticed when we started to eat them.
So overall a little overpriced when you just come for the vegan food.
Pros: Vegan wines, Delicious cocktails, 6 or 10 course menu for vegans

Delicious food, but horrible service - Edit
Made a reservation three weeks in advance mentioning allergies and dietary wishes. In the restaurant itself we had to wait 20 minutes (no joke) before a waitress came to give us the menu. She explained the concept and the menu, although we already mentioned we wanted the 10-courses in the reservation. Somehow, it did not get pass on. She said she would bring us a bottle of water and gave us time to go through the menu. Took another 20 minutes to come and get our order (again, we already said we wanted the 10-course menu weeks in advance) and she did not even bring the bottle of water with her. First course came 15 minutes later and we did not even have our drinks yet. At this point, we were already in the restaurant for an hour. If the service couldn’t get worse, they forgot some of our drinks.
Read moreThe food, however, was absolutely delicious. It was no problem to have vegan courses and every dish was explained. It’s about €30 for the 10-courses and you’re really left satisfied and full afterwards. I would definitely recommend going to Tiger Mama for the food, but take a lot of patience with you as the service is terrible.
