Great shop! - Edit
We stumbled upon this place completely by chance on our first night in Tokyo—before even checking HappyCow—and it was great. It instantly became one of our favorite meals of the trip.

One of best ramens in our trip to Japan - Edit
What a place… Please, go. The local it’s small, just 7 seats, so go early. The owner it’s amazing and can speak english.
Read moreFlavour and authenticity.
We ordered the miso ramen and the soy milk ramen. While the soy milk ramen broth was okish, the miso ramen was unbelivable. Also, here we found the best HOMEMADE noodles we’ve tried.
Don’t miss the oportunity to go.

Amazing Ramen - Edit
This was an amazing and affordable authentic ramen spot. The owner was very kind and we were impressed how well he managed everything given he does everything on his own. You order at the vending machine outside by inserting your cash or other card payment methods and then click on the ramen you want. The owner is very helpful to those who have difficulty ordering. Credit/Debit cards aren’t accepted so make sure to have cash. We didn’t have cash but went right across the street to the ATM because we didn’t want to miss out. The owner was kind and pleasant and clearly has the passion and skill. We had the miso ramen and soy milk based ramen, both amazing. So thankful the chef can accommodate to vegans/vegetarians. 10/10 recommend.

Hidden Gem - Edit
We had the soya milk ramen which is very lightly spicy, and absolutely delicious!!
Read moreIt was the best meal I had in Japan, and we did spend a lot of money at some more fancy restaurants. I’d eat there every week if I lived in Tokyo.
My husband also tried the whisky with soda (highball) and it was much cheaper and much nicer than the other places he tried it, and he’s Scottish, so I’d trust him on that one.
Very well priced and nice chilled atmosphere. Highly recommend this little place.

Fantastic Ramen - Edit
I had struggled to find a good authentic vegetarian meal to start my time in Tokyo, used Happy Cow to find Zuppa and I am so happy. You order out the front, the menu is in Japanese but the chef came out to help me. Soy meat worked well. I may go back tomorrow to try something else.

Our favourite ramen in Japan! - Edit
A small restaurant only seating 7 people. We stopped by around 3pm and got sat straight away.

Great vegan tsukemen 🍜 - Edit
Even though we came at the lunch time, we were able to find a place for 3. The tsukemen was really great and the portion was very large, especially for the price (1,100 yen). There are also dishes under 1k yen, which is really affordable for a vegan place! The food was freshly made and the noodles were very chewy!

The only thing to keep in mind is that the ticket machine only accepts cash, but there is a family mart with atm right across the street, so it shouldn’t be a problem.

I like the unpretentious atmosphere typical of ramen shops here! - Edit
Tsukemen Zuppa is one of the vegan restaurants I want to visit if I have business in Tokyo. Its notable feature is that its prices are more reasonable than other vegan restaurants. But it doesn't have the cheap feel of a chain restaurant, and the careful seasoning and plating of each dish is impressive. Of course, it's also healthy. The customer service is also courteous and excellent. If customers are wondering which ramen they should eat in front of the ticket machine, the owner will come to explain the menu in English.
Read moreI've had the salt tanmen and the soy milk tantanmen. The noodles are thick and filling, but they does not make I feel queasy at all because they does not contain any animal ingredients (I even want to add brown rice into the remaining soup!).
The tsukemen (Chinese noodles accompanied by soup for dipping) was also delicious, and I understanded the meaning of "zuppa". Thus, I recommend it to anyone who is tired of the usual tsukemen, not just vegetarians.
There seem not only limited-time-only menus but also secret menus. (Summer-only chilled curry mazesoba I had was spicy, and so good!)
