There are some very good options both vegetarian and vegan on the menu. The staff was exceptionally friendly. The dessert (vegetarian) is a must.

Easy light option - Edit
The mezze platter has the dairy symbol next to it. Our server couldn’t tell us what all would need to be subbed to make it vegan, so we opted for a few different options. Hummus, tabbouleh and Harira soup. All items were good. I wish I had read a previous review about the garden. We ended up sitting in the front room; which was fine, but a garden dining experience on a beautiful day would make it more memorable.

Best food in Córdoba - Edit
I was staying two night in Córdoba a week ago and found this place our first night as it was close by to our hotel. We planned on eating somewhere else our second night, but were amazed by how delicious the food was here and had to come back!
Read moreThe first night we got two strawberry and passion fruit mojitos (non-alc as this is a halal restaurant) the Umaueyon mezze platter to share, falafel, their cheesecake, and a scoop of chocolate ice cream.
The Mezze platter had so many options and each section was exceptional (especially their stuffed cabbage leaves and beetroot hummus) and the falafel was the lightest I’d ever had and not too dry either.
The highlight both nights was the delicious cheesecake with pistachio and grapes.
Our order only changed slightly the second night as we ordered the Shakshouka and they accidentally messed up our Mezze platter (but gifted us an extra item to make up for it).

my sister and I came here on our first night in Cordoba and got the umaueyon mezze, falafel, cheesecake and the chocolate ice cream with tahini. It was all HEAVENLY and I from now on I will only eat chocolate ice cream with tahini (it sounds weird but give it a try)
Read moreWe came back again the next night and ordered Shakshouka and the same mezze and and they surprised us by adding a few of the dishes we didn’t try the night before to our mezze.
Both nights the staff were all so lovely and helpful and the vibe of the restaurant was very relaxed. I would definitely recommend visiting if you find yourself in Cordoba!

A very romantic patio with some vegetarian dishes. I had humus as a starter and a tajine as main and both were done really well, especially the humus (Beiruti it was called). They have some nice lemonade and iced tea. (Update! I went a second time and the zaalouk is amazing.)

Had a really lovely meal here! The patio is so peaceful, and the service was great. I loved the umaeyon mezze platter - they were able to sub hummus for the tzatziki to make it vegan.

Vers en smakelijk vegetarisch - Edit
Als vegetariër op vakantie in Spanje ben je alle Tapastentjes met vlees en vis wel vrij snel zat. Het was een verademing om een bord groenten te kunnen eten. Een voorafje met diverse Mezze om te delen waaronder falafel was lekker. De Fatoush was erg smakelijk evenals de Couscous met vegetables. De Tajin met vegetables was oké : een bord met groenten in een soort bouillon, niet heel bijzonder. Ik vroeg aan de barman welke gerechten vegan waren op de kaart ivm mijn recensie voor de Happy Cow maar hij had geen idee, misschien sprak hij de taal niet goed. Voor vegetariërs was het ieder geval goed te doen daar. Gezellige ambiance, veel plantjes. Zorg dat je niet bij het tafeltje bij het toilet komt te zitten.
