Male male male - Edit

Molto bene - Edit
Went here on a recommendation from another vegan restaurant in Rome and had a delicious dinner of carbonara, pasta al forno, and tiramisu. I would rate 5 stars but since you can choose vegan or fish, HC caps rating at 4. Local place just a little off the main streets of Santo Spirito— we were the only tourists but the service was really great and accommodating. We were not asked to join as members FYI. They also accepted card payments.

Nice - Edit
It felt like mostly locals ate there, we were the only tourists. A lot of vegan options but they had some fish dishes. I got the impression that the menu changes everyday as the waiter was writing it on the chalk board as we came in. The food was good but Luke warm. The have a tasty sugar free vegan ice cream

good and inexpensive food - Edit
Very good and small restaurant. Only locals eat here and it was crowded but we got a seat. The food is very natural and whole food. They have a vegan plate and a fish plate. Menu is completely in Italian. Staff is very helpful tho. If you eat there more than once you need to make a membership that costs 10€. Plates are 5€

Wonderful!! - Edit
I could not find this place the first time I checked (it was probably closed when I believed they were open), but it is a WONDERFUL little health food shop, and the young woman who works there (Sylvia) is such a sweetheart and very helpful! :) She speaks a lot of English and is happy to take time to help!
Read moreThey have organic-stratight from the farm- vegetables and fruits that are delivered on Tuesdays, and they have great homemade breads. Also, they have many miscellaneous items that you would find in a health food store, including; "Bio"/ORGANIC soaps and shampoos, rices, beans, pastas, shoes and undergarments, cookware, jarred fruits, olive spreads, toilet paper and feminine products.
It is a precious little store! I plan to go eat in there restaurant next week and am sure it will be delicious :)
Pros: Take pride in "Bio"/Organic, Sylvia :)

Macrobiotic quality foods - Edit
A small shop where you can buy healthy food from sustainable agricolture and also some natural detergents. The association running the shop has developed its own label with plenty of information for the consumer, including the way each product is cultivated and processed. Nice and motivated staff. The shop has recently moved in the same neighborhood of the restaurant across the river.

Balanced, healthy meal - Edit
You have to be a member for 5 euro of the society to eat here. However, you are given a sugar-free desert or pastry worth 2.5 euro for joining. A harmonious meal of organic grains, beans and vegetables is served for 8 euros. There are also pastas, pizzas and other side dishes available. No dairy or sugar is served here. All deserts are sweetened w/ rice syrup. Fish is served here
