Read moreI’ve been here a number of times now. Lately I’ve been getting the beyond burger in a toasted sandwich (one of their specials) and I was able to order ahead. I work in the docklands therefore it is the opposite side of town for me so this is a great service. The food is hot and I’ve had the sweet toasted sandwiches from here and the cakes too. I had a lamington last week which was my favourite vegan lamington ever, every cake/biscuit I’ve tried has been great though. I’ve only had the coffee a few times but it was good too. Seating is very limited, you have to be quick but you can sit in a park if it’s a nice day, or find a place in the Bourke street mall. Really lovely people working there too.

One of our best experiences in Australia was at Union Kiosk! We ordered the tofu scrambe jaffle, the pepperoni mac n cheese jaffle, and a (very large) almond milk mocha with vegan marshmallows. Not only was the food truly fantastic - came out quickly and full of flavor, but the staff was the friendliest ever! Even by Australian standards, which is quite friendly to begin with. You can't help but immediately be in a good mood when you stop by Union Kiosk. MUST VISIT!

What a lovely place! The coffee is excellent, the staff are lovely and the jaffles are filling and delicious. Lots of options incl veg and fake meats. We had Korean kimchi beef, and chicken spinach and feta - both were fantastic. I’m already looking for an excuse to go back!

Not sure why I waited as long as I did to visit, perhaps I normally am not that excited by jaffles perhaps? none the less, I was glad I finally went. There were so many great options on the menu, and I narrowed it down to two, couldn't decide so I bought both thinking I should be able to finish it. The size of each jaffle is larger that what I imagined. They don't use normal sized white sliced bread. 1 would have been a good amount, and I'll know for next time!
Read moreThe chicken, yay feta and spinach is their best seller, and i loved it. The bread crunchy on the outside, fillings plentiful and flavourful, just like any good jaffle should be.
The tofu scramble, ham, cheese and hollandaise was equally good, but I had a slight preference for the chicken version.
The staff were pleasant to deal with and the jaffles didn't take too long to come out even though I was there at lunchtime.
Looking forward to going back and trying the others, the pepperoni mac n cheese I think will do just nicely!

What a gorgeous little place in an arcade that seems to be a ghost town. I got a Soy latte that was 10 out of 10!!! I also got the bolog, mozz and garlic butter jaffle. To take home I got a coconut cupcake and almond croissant.

Read moreFirst time visiting the new expanded space (since before 2020) and was happy to note there is plenty of seating without being cramped in together. I had the spicy meatball special which was good but a touch rich for me. Washed it down with an iced latte. Service was super quick today!
Second Visit:
I decided to revisit during non-peak times and had a toastie and chai in my hot little hands within 10 mins; much better! They really do know how to make a tasty toastie!
First visit:
The toasties were really very good but 40 mins is just too long to stand around waiting. Unfortunately the size of the cooking area just doesn't allow for a reasonable turnaround time. Avoiding at peak times is recommended.

I used to eat ham cheese tomato toasties when I was younger and haven't had many since becoming vegan. I ordered one here and the nostalgia was awesome! My husband loved the chikn spinach and feta toastie too. Coffee is great too!

Terrific toasties (or jaffles)!! - Edit
Union Kiosk is an amazing toastie (or jaffles) place! A perfect spot for breakfast or lunch! We had the scrambled tofu, ham and cheese and the chicken and feta toastie. Both were perfect and packed with the amazing filling! They also have a wide selection of pastries and deserts. We were able to get a cinnamon scroll (the best of the bunch!), a chocolate croissant, a brownie and others! Definitely check this place out!

I was disappointed to find so many vegan places closed on Sunday in the CBD, so the all vegan jaffle shop was an extra delight.
