At Least There Was Flavour - Edit
I don’t know why I was so intent on coming here, but I do love a good sandwich. Unfortunately, I didn’t get one here.
Read moreOn approach, I could see an array of ready made baguettes that looked quite decent and substantial. However, these were (of course) the non-vegan options and when I spied the one plant-based item, the onion bhaji and turmeric, it was significantly smaller and rather pathetic looking. But, seeing as I’d made the trip here, I decided to take what was a rather expensive gamble given its size and hope for the best. On the plus side, the bread was nowhere near as dry as I feared it would be, and actually tasted pretty good. So too did the filling, but it was too sparse and was lacking an additional extra to really make it sing.
If you’re really pushed for time before catching a train then I suppose this would just about be better than nothing, but let my experience be lesson to you and don’t go out of your way for it.

Finally some vegan options! - Edit
This chain has really dragged its feet getting vegan options on the menu but they now offer a bhaji sandwich on dark bread and a schnitzel firecracker ciabatta
