Burgers are good. Chicken nuggets were great. Staff friendly and helpful. It took a while to order then get the food, but it was a busy time (around Xmas ....so expected really). I’m happy to have another vegan burger joint!

Ich hatte den Italian Burger mit extra Käse.. er war gut, aber nichts besonderes und dafür sind die Preise ziemlich happig. Ich fand auch die Menü-Preise nicht sonderlich attraktiv, weshalb ich nur den Burger bestellte, aber keine Extras wie Pommes oder Ähnliches. Den veganen Käse fand ich aber sehr empfehlenswert, für den würde ich noch einen halben stern drauflegen 🙃

All the food was absolutely delicious with some of the best mock chicken I've tasted (I can't speak to their normal hamburger patty but they do also have a beyond burger with an impossible burger on the way). We originally only picked up a Chick Burger, Nuggets and Cheesy Fries between the two of us but after tasting it got the Angry Chick Burger as well. Cheesy fries can be a bit of a hit and miss but they've done them well. They also have good, quick service and reasonable prices.

Sandwiched between a salad place and a meat burger joint, Vedang is very much a vegan version of the fast food experience. A good range of burgers is offered, all available in meal deals. I went for the Chick burger with cheesy fries. The chicken patty was crisp and pretty tasty - I’d want to put it past the Omnivore (not with me on this trip) as I suspect it’s more flavoursome than the thing it’s based on. The cheese on the fries was a sauce rather than melted cheeze but it went welll.

Some oddities - you need to be clear you want the “Menu”, but this is no problem. Not only is English spoken here, it seems to be the preferred language! If paying cash, you Insert notes and coins into a device on the counter front.
It’s junk food, but it’s great junk food. If you want healthy, go to the salad place to the left!

Ich möchte den Laden nicht komplett schlecht bewerten, aber wie der zu 5 Sternen gekommen ist, ist mir schleierhaft. Nur, weil der Vegane Speisen anbietet, ist er doch nicht zwangsläufig gut! Wer das McDonalds Gefühl mit dem schweren Magen nach dem Essen liebt, für den mag es das richtige sein. Preis-Leistung halte ich für eher schlecht.

We had the beyond burger, one with bacon and one without. Wouldn’t recommend the bacon as it tastes kind of weird and chewy. But the rest of the burger is 10/10, and I like that all the sauces are vegan too! I’ve read other reviews saying this place is too expensive but I’d say it’s pretty much in line with beyond meat burgers elsewhere.

Edit- They hand out a card when you pay for your order that asks for honest reviews on HappyCow, Google, Yelp, etc. so that they show up better in searches. While this is perfectly fair, I am worried that it may prevent some of the really great places showing up higher in searches.

Was excited to try this place in Berlin. We live in San Diego and have a few plant based fast food joints in town (Plant Power, etc.). I got the cheesyburger and my SO got the Angry Chick Burger and some chili cheese fries. We think that Germans interpret chili cheese fries differently because he got jalapeños on his instead of chili LOL! I got an elderberry soda which was not tasty. My burger and fries were really good, the best veggie burger I’ve had in Germany so far. I would eat here again in a pinch! PS seems like this idea is catching on because the burger place in the stall next to them is selling a veggie burger and a beyond burger too- but please support Vedang, a fully vegan restaurant instead!!!
