Spring rolls, tofu, and other selections. Reported November 2025 to be operating as a food truck without seating options, only take away. Read moreI had visited the old shop a couple years earlier and had tried something very new that my taste pallettes were not used to.
This time I tried the noodles with the vegetables and a fried tofu bar. It was amazing.
Sat in a chair besides in the lane and it was an experience worth having.
Income Inequality seen firsthand in contrast is always humbling. This is not a philosophical/intellectual forum so I'll stick to food.

The food was super super cheap. I'm used to having vegan food at premier and luxury cafes and I had guessed around 150 Baht for the 3 items but it actually turned out to be only 80 Baht.
Definitely tip if possible.
Timings are 9am to 4pm.

Must go. Finding the place might be tricky. Just go on soi chuwong street and then you can find doors on the right side with thai sight for word “vegan”.

We have eaten here for lunch every day this week. Not only is it delicious, fresh, flavourful and wholesome vegan Buddhist food, it is the cheapest meal you'll ever find. We often select everything (appetisers, mains soups etc) and it costs like AUD$4 each maximum. The women who run the small place are so lovely - it's a real pleasure to support their business.

Unbedingt hier her kommen, das Essen ist fantastisch. Etwas versteckt aber als wir es gefunden hatten, waren wir jeden Tag dort. Die Inhaberin ist einfach herzlich und kocht jeden Tag andere Dinge. the appetizers were excellent - spring rolls, a seaweed/tofu wrap and a fried something with rice and nuts! The mushroom soup was too spicy for me though... All four items for around 120 baht! I went back a 2nd time - 3 small appetizers, green curry, and rice; all tasty only 80 baht total!!

Amazing, amazing thai food! The lady who serves it (and her daughter) are absolutely sweet. The food is delicious!! She can customize it any way you want. They don't have a menu and no fancy seating but it's a very beautiful, cosy, outdoorsy place with the yummiest thai food you'll find. She speaks decent english and can tell you all the food options. And it's super cheap! We ordered a vegan tofu soup, tan yang (or something that sounded like that), and one spring roll. With a water bottle, it all cost just 145 baht. Absolutely loved it. Go for it!

I have been there many times but it's often closed due to vacation and also for no reason a few days ago. "It's closed today and it will be open on Sunday", woman told us. She also confirmed that this restaurant is open every day despite it was closed many times. Nevertheless food is delicious and freshly prepared. Even though I asked if that food was not spicy, I got a noodles with some mix of nuts and soy balls which was spicy. I'm sure that staff understood me, I asked two times. To be honest it was one of the best Thai dish I've ever tasted, I would give five stars but I wasn't happy for non-compliance with opening hours and spicy dish I didn't want to be spicy.

This is a great option for a simple Thai vegetarian meal. They had five buffet choices the day I went. I had the vegetable dish and I got the fried tofu. I've had their spring rolls before and thought they were good. Not difficult to find. There's a large Buddhist alter just to the right of the restaurant. Very short distance north of Patong Hospital. Location shown correctly on Google maps (but I believe the address in Google maps is incorrect). The food is a bit fresher than you find in some of these places.

Read moreI didn't know the actual street address so I only provided the street, which is Soi Chuwang 3. The pin IS located correctly in the map in happy cow and in google maps. I just uploaded an image from google maps that shows the vegan restaurant in the upper right (in orange) just behind Soi Chuwang 3. I also uploaded an image of the Chinese nightclub that's about 50 meters away but in plain sight. Once you get there, the Buddhist alter is easy to spot. I think this should be enough to find it and if you do, please supply the correct address. I'll also try to do that. Give it another try and let me know if you have any problem. All the best... Bob
