Why does everyone love the bland dumpling soup lol - Edit
The dumpling soup is just plain coconut milk with a bit of chilli oil thrown in with the dumplings. Not a soup you'd finish. Had such high hopes for this since there's no a single negative review on Google when I found it😂

Cons: No flavour dumpling soup
VEGAN_MAMA_CNX
Hi Simii,
Read moreThank you for your honest feedback. I’m sorry the dumpling soup wasn’t to your taste.
Our dumpling soup is made fresh daily with coconut milk and our house seasoning. It’s meant to be light and comforting rather than heavily spiced. Many guests enjoy that gentle style, but we understand everyone has different flavour preferences.
We truly appreciate you giving us a try and hope you might visit again to explore some of our other dishes.
Warm regards,
Vegan Mama

We had the Dumpling Soup and it was the best food we had in Chiang Mai so far! The lady is also super nice and the food court is nice to sit in! High recommendation!!😄

Loved it honestly - Edit
Honestly we didn’t expect to love the taste of the dishes this much (it being in the One Nimman food court, we thought it would be overpriced tourist focussed food), but damn, we’ll definitely come back.
Read moreWe ordered:
- lemon garlic tofu
- milky dumpling soup
Paid 268 baht
The lady cooking was also very nice😄

Tastiest curry ever - Edit
I arrived undecided whether to eat here, but upon smelling the curry dumpling soup being prepared for another customer I chose one for myself: it was hands down the best curry I've ever had, and the large, vegetable-filled dumplings (which I normally don't eat) themselves delicious. The owner was kind, and there were places to sit in this food court. I eat vegan in dozens of countries over 20 years, and this place has my recommendation.

Great Vegan Food! - Edit
This is a great little place in One Nimman that does delicious Burmese and Thai dishes. The owner is friendly and can tailor the dishes as to your liking. I often go for the tofu in fresh tomato sauce or the fried tofu with lemon and garlic, but all the options are pretty good!

Overpriced and no flavor, I’m sorry - Edit
I would never post this on Google, but I’m more honest on happy cow because I don’t want to lead other vegans astray.
Read moreIf you’ve eaten lots of vegan food in chiang mai, you will be very disappointed. Four of us ate here, and we all couldn’t finish the food. Also, it’s so overpriced and has no passion involved based on the lack of flavor or care, even in slicing the tofu.
It’s so one dimensional. I had the lemongrass tofu, and it had no flavor or even salt. Just oily. And I can’t believe I paid like 140 baht for a few pieces of tofu. That was my own fault because I was hungry.
The dumpling soup just tasted like plain coconut milk. That’s it. Very hard to finish it. Literally no other flavor profile.
The fried dumplings were very average, and something was wrong with the soy sauce. It was like 5X saltier than usual, so you couldn’t even dip into it.
This place must be dependent on who is cooking and if the owner is present.
This is the worst vegan food I’ve had in chiang mai, and it’s overpriced. Go to the hundreds of other places to eat.

Hi, thank you for taking the time to share your feedback.
Read moreI’m sorry that your experience did not meet expectations. Vegan Mama is a very small, owner-operated kitchen where all dishes are cooked fresh in limited daily batches. Because of this, consistency and care are extremely important to me.
Your comments regarding the lemongrass tofu, dumpling soup, and dipping sauce have been noted and are being reviewed. Flavor balance and seasoning should never feel one-dimensional, and I appreciate you highlighting where it fell short for you.
Everyone’s taste and expectations can vary, and I respect that.
Pricing reflects fresh ingredients, daily preparation, and handmade cooking, and all menu prices are clearly listed.
I appreciate honest feedback from the vegan community and will continue refining my food.
Wishing you all the best,
Vegan Mama

Food Stall Perfection - Edit
I don’t trust many food stalls, but the cook here was above and beyond sweet, and made the most delicious dishes. Tofu & Garlic, homemade dumplings were some of the best I’ve had in a while!

Delicious food - Edit
I was just leisurely walking through this open mall and came across this pop - up restaurant that served one of the most delicious food. It's in the food court and is hand made, home made but really flavourful. I had the dumpling soup and Chili tofu. Great food and good ambience with live singing going on.
