Best ramen in Japan!

I loved this ramen so much!! I've tried 7 top rated ramen spots (Jangara, T's, Towzen in Kyoto, Chabuzen and a few more) but this is my favourite one of them all. Wow, I honestly am still thinking about this meal and I ate it a month ago hahaha

The oat milk makes the broth so creamy yet not too rich. The noodles are made with wheat from Hokkaido and are just fat and perfectly soak up the broth. Theres a beautiful umami flavour to this dish.

If I had one critique, it would be that it doesn't have many toppings (just a tomato and broccoli) but I think it more than makes up for it in flavour and noodley deliciousness.

I would go back here again in a heartbeat!! Go here if you love creamy ramen!

Pros: Best ramen I've tried in Japan

Cons: Seating isn't shaded

Good vegan ramen

The ramen was good, however, there was only one ramen on the menu. The seating was not optimal but if you want to visit team labs anyway it’s worth to have ramen there before or after your visit.

All vegan delicious ramen

this ramen was so incredible i highly recommend to anybody going to team labs to come here. There is often a slight wait but so worth it! My friend and I tried both flavours and they were both great

Pros: the broth

Cons: the line/ wait time

Flavorful Ramen with attention to detail!

We went to UZU in Tokyo and Kyoto. The food tasted exceptionally good both times! Tokyo also offers vegan ice cream, which was delicious. Not much seating outside. However, inside seating is available - go in the next door plant shop and ask to sit in. Can be busy due to TeamLab being right next to it.

Pros: Great taste, Well presented, Immersive art experience

One unique ramen

The shop has one ramen to order, and it is pretty good in its own right, but tastes more like an Italian soup, which was very much not what I was expecting when ordering. It is good, but not what I was wanting, and only having one option to order means that I have no choice in the matter, which knocks this down from 4-star, to 3 in my book.

Pros: The one ramen they have is good, They have desert and ice cream

Cons: Only one flavor option, Doesn't taste how I was expecting, Is one of the more expensive ramen

Delicious

This is a vegan ramen 🍜 restaurant 🍴 located in Tokyo's Kōtō district. Even though it was raining today, many people lined up in the rain and enjoyed the hot ramen in the rain☔️. Maybe that's another kind of fun and enjoyment☺️

one ramen (tastiest in Japan), some ice creams and donuts

They have one ramen (soy milk, spicy --> tastyyy) and a couple of Japanese ice cream flavours as well as two donuts. Price is comparable to other vegan food options in Japan (more expensive than non-vegan Japanese food ;'( ).

Very tasty but very expensive!

Very good ramen, with a kind of cheesy taste. The only downside is that it costs 1800 yen.

The stand also sells vegan ice cream but 660 for a scoop was too expensive for me to try.

Best vegan ramen ever

I LOVED the ramen here, and so did my non-vegan family members. They also had 4 types of vegan ice cream which were really good (soybean flour coffee, pistachio green tea, pink rhubarb, & chocolate dark cacao) and some doughnuts (I tried the roasted green tea & sansho pepper doughnut and it was great). The ramen might be the best I've ever had. Plus, the location is super convenient if you're going to teamLab.

Pros: Amazing food , Convenient location , Has dessert

When food becomes art!

Amazing ramen & super yummy ice cream (we shared the chocolate & the rhubarb). As if the food wasn’t delicious enough, we ate in the “secret” art room (go in to the flower shop) which was a really unique and special experience.

We were lucky and had the whole dining room to ourselves but it’s a large single table so you may end up sharing. I’d still recommend going!

Pros: A unique experience , Delicious ramen

Cons: Could get busy , Limited English spoken

Just tried the donuts and ice cream

Unfortunately I didn't have time to sit in for the Ramen, but the desserts I tried weren't that great :(

Tasty ramen !

The ramen is so good, very creamy and tasty. The shop also sells vegan donuts. If you pay extra you can eat while seating in one of the museum’s experience rooms.

Great ramen

Can seem a bit pricey, but given what you get and the location, I would say it’s more than fair. English speaking staff and friendly service. Outside seating.

Great ice cream

Highlight of this place turned out to be their ice cream. We tried green tea and dark chocolate flavors. Both were very tasty with green tea being less sweet than the chocolate one.

The ramen were okay, although rather heavy thanks to the oat base. I think a coconut milk would have made a more healthy option for adding creaminess. Veggies were basically non-existent. The noodles seemed to be of ok quality.

I also tried their cold brew green tea which comes without sugar and is delicious.

The ramen was good, but the ice cream was amazing

Honestly I prefer other ramen I’ve had in Tokyo, despite this one having a Michelin star. The coconut ice cream was amazing, and they offer a few different flavors!

Tasty vegan ramen

Taste was amazing, but not enough vegetables for me to be satisfied. The vegan broth was very tasty though, but beware of the spice 🌶️

Delicious ramen

It is more limited than the Kyoto location but has exclusive menu. Outdoor seating is nice actually. Sparrows on the return dishes cart.

Yummy, but not worth the wait or the price

The ramen & dessert were alright and it’s obviously very conveniently located if you’re visiting teamLab before/after, but there’s always a long queue and not enough (roofed!) seats. The area is usually very crowded. It’s all outdoors, which sucks in case it’s raining.

Ramen was delicious

We were so excited that the food spot at TeamLabs Planets was all vegan. The miso ramen was the only ramen choice but that was totally okay as it was really delicious. The ice cream looked delicious too but the line was long and we didn’t want to order it at the same time as our ramen so we passed on them. It’s counter service so you’d have to get in a line to order anything after you’ve already ordered once.

Would definitely go again - if only it wasn’t so out of the way.

The best ramen I’ve ever had in my life!!

At first I though ¥1800 is a bit steep.
I ordered it anyway and it is so so incredible!!! 10/10 and I eat a lot of food!
Tried 2 ice creams too, very yum!

Pros: Ramen is the best in the world!!!

Worth the wait

A bit of a wait even lining up at opening time to be able to sit inside the cool illuminated interior. A ramen befitting an art museum; pretty but not over to top. The topping is more of a garnish, this ramen is really about the broth and the noodles, which is different from many vegan ramen I had. Extremely good. Ice cream was fine, very small portion and maybe not worth waiting around longer for.

Pros: Cool interior, Amazing ramen

Cons: Wait

Yummy stew and noodles

It’s a Michelin star restaurant. I tried the miso ramen. It’s possible to have the experience inside the dark room, what was interesting.

Pros: Reasonable price, Delicious taste and good texture, Fast service

Cons: Maybe if it had some soy meat it’d be better

Good ramen, but in a very crowded setting

Two types of ramen available, the broth was veru succulent on both of them. Donuts were available for dessert.

Cons: Crowded with tourists and super busy
