If you’re looking for a top-notch vegan dining experience, look no further! I think about the svíčková at least once a month. The desserts are amazing, as is the red wine! The staff is always so kind. Make a reservation to ensure a rooftop table and you’ll be in for the experience of a lifetime—gorgeous views of Prague Castle and the city down below. If it’s too cold to sit outside, don’t worry! It’s nice and cozy inside with a calm atmosphere. I really cannot recommend this place enough!! If you’re in Prague, you MUST eat here!!!

if you choose to eat here, you'll need to know that you pay a higher price just because of the location near the prague's castle. the have a small balcony with four tables and if you are lucky, you can get a table on the top floor with a view on the castle.
Read morethe prices for main courses ranges between 250 and 300 crowns. the food is tasty but the portions aren't really big. after one main dish per person, we were still hungry. we had the vegan goulash (4 slices of bread and some mock meat balls in a spicy sauce... ).
nice experience, but we wouldn't go there again.

P.S.: the bread on the side are our homemade dumplings😄

Good food and great service. If you want to have a table outside (the view is amazing), you should book. We had to sit inside. The lasagna is very nice but a bit small.

This place have changed owners so I gave it another try. Disappointment. Czech food shouldn’t taste like that. For such a prices I would expect it much better. On the other hand it has a beautiful terrace so if you just want to have a drink and some small snacks it might be a good place.

I’ve had several meals in this restaurant and it’s always been a very pleasant experience. The quality of food is great and the ingredients fresh. I really appreciate the menu with lots of options, especially the Czech specialities and international dishes. The restaurant is hiding in a beautiful old building so it has a very special atmosphere. Friendly and helpful staff. The prices can be a bit high for Czech standards especially if you go for multiple dishes.

This was my first meal in Prague, and it did not disappoint. We tried both types of Czech dumplings, plus an appetizer and dessert. It was delicious! The service was impeccable as well, and the seating on the rooftop terrace was lovely.

We arrived as soon as they opened and we got a table on the terrace with a fantastic view and a little bit of shade! The food was very good - the zucchini lasagne were just what I needed after walking around all morning, my husband got the "pride burger" and also found it delicious. The place looked very nice also inside, but not easy to access if you have problems walking as there are a few stairs to conquer. It's definitely the perfect place to chill after visiting the castle and the surroundings!

We had the pumpkin soup ( soup of the day ) and 2 traditional czech dishes. The soup was okay and the traditional dishes very tasty. We also had an amazing homemade lemonade which is recommended !!
