Very friendly vegan restaurant with a fantastic balcony with a view. Must stop when you are in Prague! Had a seasonal tasty Devil Burger and a fantastic avocado tartare. Can only recommend.

Pros: Tasty, Friendly, Fantastic view from the balcony

Cons: Little pricey , Booking recommended during rush hours

Pros: Lugar, Personal

Cons: Precio, Contendo comida

Overpriced because of the location

The location is great and the interior is cozy but the meals are extremely overpriced for what it is. If you want to try the real "svickova" do not have it here, it does not taste like it. Go to Waipawa for example where you can have it for a half price and bigger portion. The buddha bowl was not special either. The staff is friendly and you cannot beat the location. There is no other vegan restaurant in the area so you pay only for that.

Pros: location, the small terrace on the top floor

Cons: is not worth of the money

My favourite place to eat in Prague

I really love this place, it´s nice and cozy and the food is delicious. It´s a great possibility for vegans/vegetarians to eat traditional Czech cuisine (like Svíčková or Goulash), but they serve international dishes as well. Been there with my boyfriend two times and a befriended couple and everyone was satisfied each time. Staff was very friendly and helpful.

Update: been there today again and I think they got even better, food and service were excellent! I had smoked watermelon, which sounds a bit weird, but tastes great!

Pros: Super delicious, friendly staff, nice location

Good but very expensive

Its just the centre-very nice atmosphere! We ate bruschetta (big portion and quite cheap*update*no longer in menu), some speciality of a day and a hot chocolate. Most of foods are a bit expensive but still very good. Burger not worth its price.

Tasty food!

Very delicious food and beer. We had a veganized tradicional Czech dish, and it was so good! The place is also nice and cozy, but there aren't a lot of tables, so we had to wait a little to get a sit.

Pros: Tasty food, Good beer, Close to the city center

Cons: A little pricey

Romantic getaway

Prague is a wonderful place for a city tour. It's typically European, with a little Eastern European influence. Luckily, Prague also has a lot of vegan and vegetarian restaurants. Judging by the good reviews and the many pictures on Happy Cow, I decided to go there.

However, the menu has changed a lot since the first reviews. Most of the dishes seen on the photos on Happy Cow are no longer on the menu. Therefore, I took a photo of the new menu.

The waitress advised me to take the "Andy Warhol burger" and so I did. It comes with baked potatoes on the side, no salad though. The burger itself is tasty, however the patty is very soft. This means that if you bite the burger, the patty will actually "leak" out. Other than that, it was a relatively healthy and filling burger at a reasonable price.

Perhaps the best quality of "Vegans Prague" is the atmosphere. Once you climb the many, many stairs inside the building you arrive at a cosy loft. It has soft lights and small tables to enjoy a special meal with a special person.

Pros: cosy atmosphere, good food

Cons: not cheap

tourist experience

It’s so nice to have a vegan restaurant with traditional local food in a city center , great possibility for every tourist) can’t say that food is something over the top, but in comparison with non-vegan tourist-oriented restaurants this one is really good one!

Pros: great location, local food experience

Cons: a bit pricey

An experience as a tourist

This restaurant offers, above all, a great view of Prague (if you sit outside)! Being quite traditional, the food was really interesting, but it tasted good. Very friendly staff.

Pros: amazing view

Great as a tourist!

As a tourist it's difficult to find traditional food from the place that you are visiting that is vegan. This place offers a traditional czech menu! And it's super yummy!

Pros: Traditional czech vegan food , Lots of choice , 100% vegan

Cons: Staff a little moody , Small portions , Lots of steps to reach the restaurant

Traditional vegan Czech food

We ate here twice during our stay as we wanted to try some local Czech food. The goulash and another dish with dumplings were delicious, hearty “stick to you ribs” type meals which was welcomed after a day walking around Prague.
The Andy Warhol burger was also tasty. Staff were friendly, there were a few stairs to climb, to work up an appetite up to the cafe/ restaurant.

Pros: All vegan, Traditional Czech food

Cons: Slightly pricey than other vegan places in town

Yum, really good food!

I had the Buddha Bowl for lunch and my friend the Andy Warhol burger. 😋 They have a great variation of yummy food. Downside during the summer: they have only a few tables outside. It’s pretty warm inside.

I'd be glad to come here again

This is a nice restaurant on the top floor in a historic building favourably located not far from the castle. Though somewhat pricey, it's the best option for a starving tourist looking for a quiet corner to have a rest. The interior is authentic. I was here in mid-September at about lunch time. I decided on zucchini lasagna, and it was quite OK. I did not waste much time waiting for my order. The personnel are quick, friendly, young, enthusiastic and eager to help. I remained satisfied.

Tasting a bit of Prague

Big and cozy restaurant, we had local meals such as Svychcova, and also the lasagna. Highly recommend even though it's a bit more expensive than other restaurants, it's worth it.

Really good

Food was great, some mixes on more traditional than the usual burgers (though they had those). If its cool enough sit out on the terrace to get the amazing views. A lot of stairs to get to the restaurant but well worth it. Easy to get to after a castle visit. Takes cards.

Great vegan versions of Czech food

We sought this place out as heard they had vegan versions of Czech food. They did not disappoint. We didn't book but were able to get a table despite them being busy. Staff were kind and attentive and the food was really good! We also got cake to take away which was great as we wanted cake but were full after our starters and mains.

Pros: Vegan versions of Czech food, Nice setting , Kind staff

Cons: Most expensive meal we had in Prague

Excellent Vegan Czech Cuisine

Both visited Prague and wanted to try some Czech cuisine, which we thought would be difficult being vegans. Found this restaurant hidden away and it's cozy, homely, atmosphere drew us in. The service was quick and super friendly. The food came quickly and was amazing, great portion sizes too. We had the goulash and Svíčková which were both fantastic. Would definitely recommend for vegans and meat eaters alike.

Pros: Cozy and homely

Cons: Hard to find , Food not quite hot enough
