pretty good - Edit
Food was very tasty, however it was not as big of a portion as the price might have suggested. The line went fast and staff was super friendly and profesional.

Vegan Czech food! - Edit
Like the previous reviews say, really great food and super service at this vegan restaurant. I splurged and got a starter, main, dessert and a glass of wine. Came to around 600 ck, which is a little on the expensive side, but well worth it when it means have traditional Czech food that has been made vegan. Highly recommend!!!

Delicious Meal - Edit
I went to this restaurant on a very cold and snowy March evening with my non vegan friend. She got the lasagna and I got a burger. Both were absolutely amazing. We finished by sharing a traditional Czech vegan dessert. The price was very affordable and the staff were very friendly. I would highly recommend visiting the restaurant if you come to Prague.

More up-market dining - Edit
This was slightly less cafe style as we’d found with several vegan places across Prague, and had a more traditional restaurant feel. Staff were very friendly and welcoming. Quite a few steps to get into the actual restaurant but it is worth it. The price also reflected the vibe, and was more in the mid range, with our starters costing 134-145Kč and mains costing around 250Kč. I loved that they served traditional Czech food so we ordered the potato goulash and “beef” in gravy with dumplings which was made with tempeh - so delicious! They also make an amazing cashew cheese which we had with our starter. Highly recommended!!

great place - Edit
I was pleasantly surprised to find out the food is actually more delicious than it looks like ( looks great either). The staff is very kind, the atmosphere is prepossessing. Definitely recommend this place, especially in the summer time, since there is a terrace on the roof with a great view.

Nice Atmosphere, Great Food - Edit
The location of the restaurant is great: Just by the castle. The staff was very nice an explained to us the soup and the burger of the day. We ordered as starters: soup of the day (vegetable with buckwheat), bruschetta and avocado tartar. Everything was great, but especially the bruschetta with tomato and homemade cashew cheese was delicious. As main we ordered Gulasch and Svíčková. The Gulasch was very nice, but also a little bit too spicy for my taste. The Svíčková had tempeh which went along great with the sauce and the sweetness of the cranberries sauce. The dumplings were also exellent and very filling.

great location, if you’re planning a visit to Prague castle I’d definitely recommend a visit! Superb selection of tasty home style food in a lovely building. I can’t remember whether there was a lift but had to climb a few flight to get to the restaurant, So maybe check before if that’s an Issue..

Great for tourists - Edit
This place is perfect if you are a tourist heading to the castle and it has a very nice view from the terrace. The food was tasty. I remember having nasi goreng and a chocolate cake. Nasi goreng wasn't exactly authentic but it was good and the cake was yummy. Everything was okay but maybe a bit more expensive than I expected. I felt a little pressured into giving them a tip while paying.

yummy - Edit
We have been there on monday evening for some dessert and hot chocolate.
Read moreThe stuff was very friendly and spoke english fluently.
We had some traditional czech dumplings with blueberry sauce and the cake of the day - cheesecake, which we found out to be more like a chocolate-pudding cake, but both was pretty good.
Additional we had two hot chocolates, also yummy. We paid around 18€ for this, so definitely more on the pricey side.
Pros: good tasting dessert, friendly, english speaking stuff , nice view on the balcony (summer only)
Cons: kinda expensive

Must Visit! - Edit
Great location, on the Main Street to the castle. The zucchini lasagna was the BEST I have ever had - packed with flavor. The blackberry cake looked better than it tasted but it was still good. It was very creamy and rich, could’ve used a bit more flavor though. J highly recommend this place!

First, if you have kids, you’ll be happy to know there’s infant seats and a little play area with toys and books. My son played the entire time! I loved the zucchini lasagne, ginger tea, and raw cherry cake I had. My husband had the Indonesian specialty and liked it, but wasn’t a fan of the tempeh in it. He also wasn’t the biggest fan of the hot wine. We both loved the guacamole. I’d definitely recommend coming here while in Prague. I’m sure we’ll be back before our trip is over!!

My Stomach is Delighted - Edit
Delicious authentic vegan Czech cuisine! We ordered the beetroot capaccio, goulash, and dumplings on the first day, and then went back for the peppers with eggplant, soup and the Christmas Grinch burger we were recommended the next day! Super tasty food with amazing service. Straight up would have gone back for day 3 if we didn't think that was overkill. Definitely try out the traditional dishes before anything else... but then try everything else too.
