Birria tacos and tres leches cake were standouts - Edit
The cauliflower wings and BBQ ribs were certainly tasty (along with the salsas that came with it), but I really loved the birria taco and will be returning for that! Their tres leches cake was also great too. Very good prices and friendly service too.

Came here 3x during our 6 day stay in CDMX. The wrap with barbasoya ended up being my favorite, but honestly everything was amazing. The tacos were delicious with crispy mushroom, red chorizo, spicy seitan and the first two on the menu (I forgot the names).

Amazing Tacos with a tiny seating area - Edit
I think the tacos I had here were the best I had in Mexico City. I had the Fried Mushrooms which were so crispy and paired well with the salsa, I also got the chorizo rojo which was perfectly spiced, and the last taco I got was the barbasoya which was pretty good as well. I also got the Vegan mac and cheese which was just okay. They also had a decent amount of deserts, I got the cherry chocolate chip ice cream and a pistachio matcha cookie which was really yummy. This place is good but it's hard to get a seat as it's very tiny so I suggest going early evening or ordering to go.

I was walking around and starting getting hungry and stumbled upon Vegetal. Loved the various taco filling options. I went mushroom, tofu and seitan. I also got an order of chilaquiles. Very good flavors and fresh. There was however only 1 cook and 1 server, so don’t be in a rush when you go.

Best Vegan Meat Tacos I've Ever Had - Edit
Didn't know what to expect but so happy I tried this place. I had 3 tacos, one pastor, one bisteak, and... forgot the name of the third. All tastes fresh and were amazing. I have some more days in Mexico City and will definitely be back

I had their basic burger here (whatever the first one on the menu is) and it was a solid, tasty vegan burger. I wish I tried their tacos instead because that’s what they’re more well known for, but the burger was still good

I ordered food from these guys on Rappi a few times before noticing a suspicious pattern. They advertised items that were very cheap (for example, a vegan chicken cordon Bleu for $150 MXN), then they would call saying they were out of the item and the Rappi app wasn't working so they couldn't cancel my order, but would switch my order to something else. The things I could have chosen from for the same price appeared noticeably smaller in size. The last time they did this, I became suspicious they were using a bait-and-switch scam to rip me off, and had someone else call their restaurant and ask if they could order through Rappi, and they were told yes, confirming it was a scam. I called Rappi and had them cancel my order. If you defraud people who are vegan or interested in eating vegan food, you selfishly and shamefully harm the cause. I won't eat at this place, nor will I recommend it, and I've been told this isn't the first time the owner has engaged in this kind of behavior. (She even shared my negative review on Google Maps in a Facbook group, claiming I was harassing her and soliciting people to give positive reviews to bury my negative one.)

Read moreThe extensive menu should have something to please just about anyone. Particularly recommendable are the tacos with crispy mushrooms (“tacos con setas crispy”), and if you’d like to try a soymeat option the “tacos barbasoya” are tasty.
There are a few indoor tables and a couple more outside. Punk-rock ambience. Service is helpful.

Very small cozy place. Portions are not big but prices are really cheap as well so you can order a few different meals to share and try more things. Everything was delicious, came out pretty fast considering the fact it was cooked at the moment, we shared 4 meals, it was enough for us, it was yummy and the cost was half of any other restaurant we have had dinner for 2 in. Highly recommended.
