Farm Fresh Food! - Edit
The best vegetarian with vegan option restaurant in Fujinomiya! The produce used is farm fresh, and eye-popping in a colorful presentation. It reminded us of our favorite vegan restaurants at home in Hawai’i! The staff are friendly, helpful and willing to ensure vegan orders meet your needs. My husband (not vegan) had the seasonal vegetable curry and a soy ice cream (has some cow’s milk in it). I enjoyed the vegan Bibimbap (they prepared it without egg for me). It was the best meal we had in our 2 days in the city. We also got two half rainbow sandwiches to go for the train. Watch a loop video on natural farming to learn the methods used. We are Master Gardeners and found it very intersting. The cafe is closed on Mondays, otherwise we would have gone more than once. The city has very few vegan choices. The grocery stores don’t have prepared vegan foods (difficult for those without a kitchen to cook in). Veggie Cafe Mazina will fill your heart, tummy and nourish you! P.S. They sell some produce, teas and breads. The produce is beautiful.

A pleasant option in an option-less land - Edit
As a vegan, finding food in this area was almost impossible. I had a fig curry for lunch that comes with a salad and a drink in a beautiful presentation for 1200 yen which is a reasonable price, and tasted very nice and special (did not expect a sweet curry... Maybe a tiny bit too sweet for my taste but very good overall).
Read moreIt is a very cozy place, spacious, foreigners-friendly, that also sells various items that look of high quality and with a great atmosphere overall.
A vegetarian café, which is indeed rare here, however do note that most dishes contain milk/eggs, including their famous soy soft serve dessert unfortunately (All allergens are labeled clearly in the menu). Taking out the cheese might be possible, but as long as it's not replaced by some vegan cheese, it's left kind of shallow.
Still, it deserves 5/5 imo, especially compared to the rest of the options around.
Pros: Staff speaks great English, Good food, admirable effort, Cozy atmosphere
Cons: Not many vegan options
