Delicious Vegan Food - Edit
Always delicious, fast, reasonably priced vegan food at Veggie Grill. VG has been a favorite of mine for a long time. The items we tried today are seasonal but they were very good if you can get them! The vegan tuna melt and vegan turkey pot pie were both really good. The vegan tuna melt on rye was much better than any "real" tuna melt I've ever had! If it's your first time I recommend the Santa Fe Crispy Chickin, also the sweet potato fries are a must!! Other good stuff: salads and healthy bowls, also yummy wings and nachos, the chocolate chip cookies, carrot cake!! I wish they would bring back the classic VG menu items like the All American Stack!!

Good - Edit
We were actually looking for Mas Veggies but this place was in it’s place, apparently Mas Veggies is just Veggie Grill’s ghost kitchen. Nevertheless, the food was good although is mass produced.

Ordered the seven ingredient bowl I got it as a burrito. Also ordered the crispy cauliflower with orange dipping sauce. My son got a double cheeseburger. Everything was very delicious.

Simply the best burger I have ever tried, their vegan cheese is also really tasteful and is not an n-th cashew cheese

Love it! - Edit
Everything is always good and consistent here. However, they did raise prices and cut portions. But still a go-to. Love their changing seasonal menu options too.

Super Tasty fast(ish) food - Edit
Whilst you get your food quickly, the quality is miles above normal fast food options. There is so much choice it's amazing. We had the smokehouse burger, santa fe chicken burger, bbq wings, and home-made lemonade, and loved it all!

Updated Review: this place has changed - Edit
I used to go to this place, or get take-out, frequently, with my family. We took a break from eating out during the hardest times of the pandemic and only recently returned to VG. We were super disappointed. The menu is much smaller than it used to be, less adventurous and more basic. At the same time, kind of random. Something that seemed to be taco-salad-like had weird herbs in it. They didn't have the sauce my kid asked for so the burger was just kinda dry. They left stuff out of the order. And lunch for 5 ended up being $80. I called and complained, but I had to go back to the restaurant for a refund. The staff were super nice and apologetic, but our lunch was still expensive and disappointing. I don't like writing bad reviews, but people should know what to expect.

I have been to this Veggie Grill once, with my family of five. The kids were very satisfied with the kids menu items, and I was very satisfied with the variety and quality of adult food, too. I particularly loved that I could order my "sandwich" on a bed of kale instead of a bun, since I'm not such a huge fan of lots of gluten and carbs. The drink choices were awesome, too, offering a couple kind of lemonades and a few different iced teas. Finally I don't have to have the "soda or not" conversation with the kids. The lemonades were delicious and easy enough to add a little water so the kids weren't overwhelmed with sugar. The atmosphere was really great for my family, too; the staff was kind and attentive and I felt my kids were welcome, but it wasn't a crazy screamy free-for-all like some kid-friendly restaurants.

I'm Not a Veggie Grill Shill - Edit
I ordered the meatball sub. It was tasty, but only had two meatballs. I don't necessarily want a larger sandwich, but it's not worth $13.50. I definitely appreciate that this chain exists, but I think it's too expensive. I've visited many times, and will continue to, but only because of its convenience.

We’ve been to several Veggie Grill locations and are never disappointed. Loads of options and speedy prep. No seating yet, and the drinks are very limited currently. But the menu is still quite extensive.

So good! - Edit
We’ve never really been impressed with Veggie Grill in the past at different locations. It was sad to see it so empty bc of COVID. However, what a difference in the food and service. Normally everything is rushed, seems quickly thrown together and not quite as fresh as you’d like for the price. With it being so empty everything came out perfectly. The menu seemed smaller but still delicious options.

Vegetarian, vegan options - Edit
It's not 100% vegan, so be careful. It's all vegetarian, but they have cheese and dairy-based sauces on burgers. If you're vegan, make sure to double check that what you're ordering is actually vegan. Good news though: the brownie IS vegan

This is a plant-based chain, I have worked at 2 Veggie Grill locations and know the ingredients well. If it says cheese, they mean vegan, plant-based cheese. The sauces are vegan too!

Pretty good veg sandwiches and burritos - Edit
We stopped in for lunch and tried the lux burger with roasted broccoli, chicken sandwich with fries, and the carne asada burrito . It was all really good, and I'm glad we gave it a try. I was reading online that veggie grill included Cena vegan meats in some of their dishes so I was excited to try the carne asada burrito. The only thing I had to compare it to is bolt cutter's sin carne out of salt lake City. It has more flavor than bolt cutter's but very similar. I had it hot with schiracha and jalepenos inside. It honestly had zero heat but I like my good pretty spicy. We'll likely stop back in and try a few more offerings.

Please come to Philadelphia! - Edit
The veggie grill offers a wide variety of tasty vegan dishes, from crispy “chicken” to Mac and cheese to burgers to bowls. I especially appreciated the ability to get a mini-wrap, which wasn’t all that mini and was filled with scrumptious buffalo “chicken.” I wish this chain would come to Philadelphia. We have lots of hungry vegans there!
