Despite what their page here on happy cow says, everything is now vegan on their menu! The cream cheese has been replaced with vegan one, same for the mayo and the burger! They have a lot of dishes and everything we tried was delicious : pad thai, dumplings, fried rice, vegan beef with vegetables, burger. The portions were huuge (enough for two meals) and the prices were low. The staff was nice and answered all of our questions with a smile!

Wish I had tried the curry - Edit
It’s always a challenge visiting a new place alone because I have to pick one meal. I went with the sesame chicken after seeing the reviews, it was fine. Maybe I was expecting chewier texture but it was kinda crunchy and thick. The employee had recommended the veggie curry and I wish I had gotten that instead as my meal was just ok. Would come back to try other options, big menu was nice if I had more stomach and cash.

We've been to both the Northern and Scottsdale locations. Staff are always friendly. I enjoy the curry, tom yum, and village fried rice dishes. Portions are not overwhelming.

Read moreI want to start by saying they have an extensive menu, even vegan seafood options! I was nervous to try the vegan fish because I had never had real fish before but my boyfriend ordered it one day and it was actually really good! Everything that I have eaten from here has been amazing you can even choose on some dishes if you want the 'meat' to be soy or mushrooms, my mom gets the mushrooms and I always do soy but both ways are delicious.
They are labeled as Vegetarian but mostly everything is Vegan and the staff is very nice and helpful if you have questions. I personally don't like spicy food and they were helpful answering my questions if a dish was spicy or not.
The lettuce wraps and the sesame soy chicken are my favorites!

Every dish we ordered was phenomenal but the Hakka Tofu was out of this world. The sauce that comes with it should be bottled and sold! Seriously, it's delicious! The passion fruit pineapple drink was also very yummy. We can't wait to go back and try more dishes from the menu!

Best Chinese food in the valley - Edit
Currently they are not doing table service but you can order takeout and eat at one of the tables. The hot and sour soup is my favorite. We also got the Kung pao with 1/2 vegan chicken and 1/2 mushrooms. Soooo good!

Veggie Village reminds me a lot of Loving Hut. They have very similar menus. I like the food at Veggie Village better, especially the appetizers. Their menu says the crab wontons are vegan, contrary to what this app says. My only word of warning is stick to tofu. The meat substitutes are not good. It’s like the 90’s version of vegan meat.

My husband ordered the sesame chicken (1/2 soy, 1/2 mushrooms) w/ brown rice and I ordered the veggie delight w/ brown rice.
My veggie delight was yummy. I loveddd the mushrooms in it and the sauce was tasty. I almost wish I asked to replace the tofu with mushrooms.
The sesame chicken.....was Insanely delicious. As soon as we opened the takeout container...the smell that emitted from the box was...pure deliciousness. Smelled like fried goodness with a hint of sweetness.
One bite of the mushroom sesame chicken and just the flavour...the sauce....ITS SO GOOD. Judging by how flavourful and well balanced the sweet and savoury sauce was...they probably have a lot of other yummy dishes. If we come back to Phoenix, we would def come back here.

Veggie Village is so wonderful! We had the wonton soup which was fabulous! I haven't had vegan wonton soup in so long. The wontons were so tasty and tasted fresh and tender with a variety of veggies. I highly recommend. We also got the Tom Yam Fish which was flavorful and perfect texture. The honeydew chia juice had a great flavor. Honeydew isn't usually one of my favorites but this was refreshing. The service was fast and folks were kind. I wish I was eating there right now. ')

My sister and mom had been talking about taking my to this place for a while but they couldn’t cuz I’m in the military and I was gone. But as soon as I dropped in town, I went to eat some of the orange Chikn that they kept raving about. And let me say, it will not disappoint! I know they have other options of food so I added the menu, but with such little time on my plate I only tried the Orange Chikn and it comes with a side of rice. I ate it all with chopsticks as living in Korea has made me used to it. You get bragging points if you do the same. And you will look especially cool in front of your significant other or your family. :)

This restaurant is a wonderful place to try unique dishes! They have items I have never seen or tried before, and they are absolutely delicious. I have tried everything on their menu over the years and encourage readers to try something new. I especially like their savory oatmeal dish for a good salty kick, or the tom yam fish for something spicy and sweet.

Whenever I’m in the area I stop here. They have vegan cream cheese for the wontons. Just let them know your order is vegan. Lettuce wraps, Kung pao v chicken and golden shrimp are my favorites. They now have a vegan burger available.

Been here 3 times now since going vegan. It was actually my first vegan meal at a restaurant. Super friendly and fast service! A lot of Asian-fusion on the menu with a great variety! I’ve had the pad Thai, roti prata, vegetable curry, and stir fried flat noodles. Every single one was awesome! This place is close to my office and my new go to for lunch!
