vegan food in a part of town that really needs it - Edit
This restaurant is located near Ofuna Station, which is not a very touristy part of Kamakura. There are chain options but to my knowledge this is the only vegan restaurant in Ofuna.
Read moreI went at 2 p.m. I expected some things to be sold out at that time, and indeed, unfortunately the muffins/desserts were not available.
I had the daily plate as a set with salad and apple juice. The food was all fresh and I really enjoyed everything (except the mushrooms- I am just not a mushroom fan). I would go again, probably earlier in the day so I could order more, as the portions were just a bit on the smaller size.
The owner was really kind. I don't think she speaks too much English, so we chatted in Japanese a bit.
Pros: kind owner, conveniently located next to station, tasty food

The portions are kinda small for the price. But the dark brown sauce hamburger was very good.

There aren’t many cafes with vegan options close to Ofuna station, so this place is a good option if you are in the area. The food was fine, I especially liked the burger.
