This was my first encounter in a food store in Florence and it was so disappointing.

I can’t recommend.
Better go to ‘Perche no!’, another gelatteria in Florence with nicer workers and better icecream.

Hard to go wrong with gelato. Although the options were limited, they were tasty. I had the azteco (dark chocolate) and blueberry (which I think is an uncommon flavour but I could be wrong) and it was a nice combination

I loved the dark chocolate ice cream, but everything else was not very interesting - the only other vegan options were just sorbets, which were not special.

Venchi is a chain gelato place that has clearly labeled vegan flavors (stamped with the green V symbol). It’s dark chocolate and melon flavors are delicious. Deifntiely not the best gelato out there as I prefer the more mom-and-pop gelato shops, but a great stop on a hot day.

They had all the fruity flavours when I went in plus dark chocolate and an almond flavour which were delish, not to mention the vegan cones dipped in dark chocolate and covered in hazelnuts. Could do with more flavours but would recommend

Fave gelato in Florence! - Edit
So yum! I had chocolate, strawberry and blueberry. I went back a second time and got chocolate, strawberry and mango. The strawberry flavour was incredible! Tasted like fresh strawberries. Blueberry was okay, not that flavoursome. Chocolate was delicious! Loved having a vegan cone.

The icecream was good, not the best I ever ate. But it was nice to finally get icecream with a vegan cone which was delicious! The chocolate is very good and they offer a lot of vegan sorts

Can’t believe I’ve been searching for places to get some nice vegan ice cream in Florence and this didn’t really come up much. I just had the best ice cream ever. The cones are vegan, and they have vegan chocolate as well, so they can make the crunchy cone thingy. Also topped with a dark chocolate. I had the strawberry flavour which was bitter in the nicest way and combined greatly with the smooooothest green pistachio. In love. Will come back.
