Es gibt wohl einige vegane Optionen, aber diese sind nicht klar von vegetarischen auf der Karte zu unterscheiden. Essen war aber ziemlich lecker und die Bedienung top.

Wir sind Freunde der vietnamesischen Küche und haben heute das Vietal ausprobiert. Schon der Blick auf die Karte zeigt: tolle Zutaten und gewiss kein „Imbiss“ - Feeling! Auch das Ambiente war sehr vielversprechend. Wir haben uns auf Anhieb unheimlich wohl gefühlt. Und das Essen war, wie erhofft, total lecker! Wir hatten Sommerrollen (hier als Buddah Rolle zu finden) die wir unten total lieben! Dann gab es einmal ein Wok Gericht mit Tempeh, Pakchoi, Shiitake Pilzen und weiterem Gemüse und ein saisonales Gericht mit veganen Garnelen und Seitan und ebenfalls Shiitake Pilzen und Gemüse. Das Essen war sehr lecker und außergewöhnlich. Allerdings hatte ich bei den Süßkartoffel Sticks was anderes als Pommes erwartet. Die Sommerrolle war dick befüllt und kam mit einer sehr leckeren Erdnusssoße. Die Servicekraft war auch sehr nett und brachte das Essen schnell. Die Hauptgerichte waren auch sehr lecker.

Bestes gegrilltes Soja-Fischfilet - Edit
Wow! Es war so unglaublich lecker! Ich habe dort das beste vegane Fischfilet gegessen! Auch die Suppe war super lecker! Auch richtig super: Die veganen Varianten sind günstiger als die tierischen Optionen. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und humorvoll und das Ambiente ist auch ziemlich geschmackvoll.

Unglaublich leckeres Essen und große Portionen. Die Atmosphäre ist sehr gemütlich, jedoch kann es lauter werden, wenn viele Leute da sind. Bedienungen sind immer freundlich. Es gibt auch saisonale Karten, welche mehr Abwechslung bieten. Die Getränke sind auch sehr zu empfehlen. Leider ist alles etwas teurer, aber für dieses Essen zahle ich gerne.

Heerlijk, smaakvol gegeten. Veel vegan keuzes op de kaart, te veel om te kiezen. Een glas biologische rode wijn erbij , koffie met soyamelk en kokospudding met chiazaadjes als dessert. Echt een aanrader om gezond en smaakvol te eten!

Healthy and delicious - Edit
One of the best places for vegan food in Hannover. They have a big variety of vegan dishes, which are all clearly labelled on the menue. Also some other dishes could be made vegan by request. I recommend Tofu and Tempeh dishes, taste great. Everything is very fresh made. It's a bit pricey but totally worth it due to everything being made so fresh and delicious.

Ich bin hier jedes Mal wunschlos glücklich. Die Gerichte sind super vielseitig und extrem lecker! Auch die saisonalen Karten sind jedes Mal super. Mein Tipp: Probiert den Chai Latte (vegan ohne Honig)! Nachteil: Etwas teurer, jedoch meiner Meinung nach immer einen Besuch wert.

You really are spoilt for choice when visiting Vietal-Kitchen - there are so many vegan dishes or dishes that can easily be veganized by swapping the meat for tofu. It took us ages to decide! In the end we opted for two starters that we shared (soy, beans and veggies in rice paper rolls & tempeh and veggies in pancake rolls). For the mains, my husband chose one of the autumnal seasonal dishes, tofu in a sunflower seed crust, seitan and a sweet potato filled with veggies, while I had noodle soup with tofu, seitan, a yuba roll and veggies.

Service was very friendly and I loved the pretty interior.
We will definitely go back when we are in Hannover next time! There are so many things to try in this restaurant!

Zu jedem Hauptgericht gibt es eine vegane Alternative. Ich war in diesem Restaurant zum Mittagstisch, an einem Samstag und an Silvester, wo es ein spezielles Weihnachtsmenü gab.
Read moreIch mochte wirklich alles, was ich dort gegessen oder getrunken habe. Viele betiteln dieses Restaurant als teurer, allerdings schmeckt man die Qualität mehr als deutlich. Anders als bei anderen Restaurants werden hier alle Gerichte mit veganen Milchalternativen zubereitet, sodass man Dessert bestellen kann ohne die Inhalte dreimal zu prüfen.
Ich würde 5/5 Sterne vergeben, wenn das möglich wäre.

I had one of the Veg wok options. It was pretty nice but I maybe would have preferred a different dish. No English menu but I used google translate which worked pretty well. Staff were nice and food cake out quickly. I would come back here again but it’s on the more expensive side being organic etc.

Large vegan menu - Edit
They have a huge vegan menu compared to other omni restaurants. Also monthly changing menu with lots of vegan options. I am used to make decisions on what I order in a restaurant from a small amount, but at Vietal Kitchen it took me forever because it all sounds so good.

OK but pay attention! - Edit
First the good: I was in that restaurant, the food was ok, the waiter was very nice and knowledgeable and took his time to tell me which items are vegan, and they do have a number of dishes that are vegetarian or vegan or can be prepared that way.
Read moreNow the bad: When my lunch arrived, I wanted to take a picture to put it here on the forum, so I asked the waiter again "So what is this now exactly? Tofu with satay sauce, right?" ... and the waiter took a long look at my dish again and then said ... "Wait a moment, I have to check something". Then he consulted his order device and told me that he had obviously made a mistake and ordered the non-vegan dish of the day, which was chicken carcass with satay sauce. That was not at all visible from the dish, and - as the restaurant was very poorly lit - I might possibly not even have noticed that before putting a piece of it into my mouth :-(
WTF???? I am well aware that this can happen in any omni restaurant, but let's be honest, this can be one of the worst things to happen to any vegan or vegetarian. Certainly not something that should happen...
Under those circumstances, do I trust them and order a vegetarian dish with the request to "make it vegan"? I am really not sure.
Other than that, the tofu was ok but did not have much taste (at least not compared to a satay dish in Asia, which is typically spicy, so it is likely dumbed down to the European taste). Not exceptional.
