A neat little fast food restaurant, far away from Merida Centro.
Read moreWe got some tacos and a soup with Chickpeas there.
They were delicious but for our taste a little bit to oily.
The salsa and onions were very nice and spicy.
Prices were okay.

Mi novio y yo planeamos un viaje a Mérida para visitar a mi familia. Yo soy vegana y viajando como persona vegana puede ser complicado. Buena suerte para los que visiten Mérida. La ciudad tiene varios restaurantes veganos. Me encanta que Viva la Virria venda comida mexicana auténtica que también sea vegana. Se siente hermoso formar parte de mi cultura sin sacrificar mis modales relacionados con la comida. Mi novio y yo pedimos dos bebidas: yo dos horchatas y él una horchata y luego una jamaica. Él y yo pedimos platos de combo quesavirria y papitas. Todo lo que pedimos nos costó 298 pesos lo cual en dólares estadounidenses son aproximadamente $14.90. Desde una perspectiva estadounidense, no es mucho. Desde la perspectiva mexicana, no sé si se considera mucho 298 pesos. Sobre todo, espero que este restaurante vegano se haga aún más próspero en el futuro. Bendiciones para el equipo de mujeres trabajadoras que prepararon comida mexicana auténtica sin sacrificar las vidas de los animales. ¡Se las agradezco a todas!

We arrived in town at 3pm and were able to place an order via WhatsApp before they closed. They were very responsive to our questions and the food was delicious (and arrived quickly)!

We found this place randomly on google maps, but we were also recommended this place on the vegan facebook groups for Merida. We found them on facebook and contacted them through Whatsapp where they also had their menu. The process to order was so easy, they knew English. We ordered the quarter kilo of virria, virriaramen, and the alambre. We don't have pictures but I promise you it was absolutely amazing!! So much flavor in the "meats" and all the sauces, some of the best tacos we've had in our whole stay in Merida so far!
