Not animal friendly - zero stars - Edit
Call yourself a vegan restaurant and be rude when people walk in with service animals - unacceptable. Went with my dog and immediately i was asked in an aggressive tone “is this a service dog?” “What is the service the dog is providing?”. After i explained i sat at a table outside (not even inside) when another employee came and on the exact aggressive tone asked again the same questions and almost yelled at me that “if the dog cannot behave you need to leave”. That moment i almost lost it - the dog was obviously behaving and started to get irritated (like I was) at that woman’s tone of voice and her bad energy. I wanted to leave right there i was just too tired and could barely move. Thank you for ruing my day. After the incident i lost my appetite and didn’t know how to get faster out of there. I regret I didn’t started to scold her on federal law and my rights and on the fact that they call themselves a “vegan” place. I was just too shocked as this has never happened to me and just wasn’t in the mood - it was a beautiful sunny day and didn’t want to ruin it more than always was. This place is despicable - i do not recommend. Carefully where you put your money and what type of businesses you support. Never again will go there and will tell people who want to go there not to go there.
Read moreThe food - menu was confusing as lists “turkey”, “chicken”, “eggs” and uses fake meat unhealthy ingredients- the dog didn’t even touch it.
Cons: Not animal friendly, Rude/aggressive/disrespectful staff, Food uses lots of “fake meat” ingredients

Fave vegan spot in town - Edit
I love this place. The seitan wings are the best I’ve ever had, crispy and saucy, just the way I like it. The blackened tofu caesar wrap is my top fave menu item, the service here is alway good and the desserts are totally worth it. I also love that they have cbd water here. Can’t wait to bring friends here!

We always visit when in Denver - Edit
We've been to Watercourse a bunch of times but this is our first visit since COVID. We busted our butts to get here in time for brunch and weren't disappointed.
Read moreThey had just that day updated the brunch menu to include the Chicken + Biscuit. The chicken in it is lion's mane mushroom. This thing is amazing! So good we almost didn't miss the Big Rig (RIP.) Also enjoyed the Chicken & Waffles.
Pro tip: if they run out of any baked goods you want, just head over to Make, Believe Bakery and get them there.
Pros: Consistently delicious, Something for everyone, Great service
Cons: Can be very busy, Sometimes they run out of things

The best! - Edit
Have been coming here for years, so many amazing food options and great cocktails. The Cuban is heaven and I have dreams of the seitan wings! Always go for happy hour and it’s the best experience. Labels all gfo, sf, nf options on menu for all the fellows picky eaters out there!

Lots of gluten free options - Edit
I got the loaded baked potato soup, macaroni and cheese and small caesar salad. The baked potato soup was nice and did not seem overly salty. The mac and cheese was good but didn't taste like cheese. It was an appealing coconut flavored sauce. The caesar salad was good, especially the dressing. It was one of the best caesar dressings I ever had. Also, a nice thing was when I told them I am gluten free, they asked if it was celiac or preference and I said celiac, and they said they take care to prevent cross-contamination. That was really nice. Good service and food came out rather quickly.

Favorite sit down vegan place in Denver - Edit
Everything I’ve had on the menu so far has been awesome. The happy hour options are great, especially the sietan wings which are incredible. Excellent non alcoholic cocktails, desserts, and more. They do have a 20% service charge tacked onto all bills, so it can get pricey.

So Many Changes - Edit
Since the COVID pandemic, the menu has been cut down to bare minimum. Practically everything from my prior review has been removed from the menu. My favorite sandwich, the Cuban is still around but without the bacon bc they no longer make it. Their bacon was amazing. It makes no sense. The new menu really doesn’t interest me at all, so it’s really more like 3 stars with an extra star for being all vegan. I hope the menu returns to its former glory one day.
Read more2010 ORIG REVIEW: raspberry vegan milkshake (which was AMAZING!!!) and the Roasted Vegetable Bruschetta , which was quite tasty, but even more so when I heated the toast later (I was too full from the shake to eat it all then). I've seen the horror stories about the service, and I am SO thankful that I didn't have the same fate. Our waitress was a sweetheart. I went back later that day to order the Country Fried Seitan, chocolate pie & apple pie a la mode to go. The Country Fried Seitan was SO good! It was served with golden mashed potatoes & a flavorful gravy, and I asked for steamed chard. The apple pie was big and overflowing with fresh apples. Not very sweet, so those who complain about desserts being too sweet would LOVE it. The chocolate pie was so freggin good that I was licking the spoon! And the vegan ice cream was so very beyond amazable that I had to call them back to double-check its veganess! I was advised that it comes from a local ice creamery, Sweet Action. It was THE.BEST.VEGAN.ICE.CREAM.EVER!

Agreed. What happened? Why change such an amazing menu so drastically. Also, this was a breakfast stop for us but now they don't even open until 11am :(

I’m sure there are healthy things on the menu, but I can eat those at home. So much good food here including the waffle and cauliflower “chickn”, the sandwiches, everything. If you’re looking for comfort food, look no further.

I had the grits from the breakfast menu and that blew my mind away. With a huge piece of fried polenta in the middle (just like grandma used to make) and the insane cheese sauce on top. I can’t wait to go back.

Went twice in 2 days! - Edit
What a great place to eat. Where do I begin. Their ambiance, nee plants, was amazing to look at while you wait *briefly* for your food. The food comes quite quickly considering they make everything from scratch! The staff are knowledgeable and friendly. Now the food is out of this world good. The first time I ordered the turkey and Brie sandwich, the second time I ordered the chorizo and grits. Hands down my best meal during my stay in Denver. You must get the chorizo and grits. You won’t regret it!

Vegan cafe with plenty to choose from - Edit
I had read so many positive reviews for this place, I couldn't come to Denver and pass it up. I started with their Tomato Curry Soup. You could smell it as soon as the server placed it on the table. It was delicious. Next I had cauliflower wings 1/2 BBQ and 1/2 Buffalo. I enjoyed them both (the BBQ a little better). Next I moved onto their Eggplant + mixed mushroom ragout. Presentation was nice. Polenta was crispy (as promised). I wasn’t a huge fan of this dish. It was made well, I just didn’t enjoy it. I am looking forward to coming back and trying other dishes they have.

yummy vibes - Edit
Staff was very friendly and helpful with the menu. Lots of fantastic options. Pastrami seemed real, everything had great texture and flavor. They had classic options like sandwiches and more fancy stuff like polenta in a red sauce with micro greens. Great drink options. Wanted dessert but were too full! So many plants and art all over; a very cool place to observe. Lots of seating, big space.
