Disappointing - Edit
I had wanted to try this restaurant for quite a while. I was disappointed with the food. The cauliflower wings were great. However, the entrees lacked in flavor. The risotto was bland and undercooked. The gnocchi in sweet potato purée was bland as well and had a consistency of baby food. The yellow beet salad was good but, also lacked in flavor. The lemon cake was delicious. We waited for the server to come. Had to ask for napkins, water, ice. The 20% service fee is ridiculous! For that reason alone I won’t be back. I agree that employees should get a fair wage and that should be the employers responsibility! 20% service fee 20% tip is ridiculous and over the top expensive. The Food and service just isn’t worth it!
Read morePros: Some tasty dessert options
Cons: Expensive after the restaurant adds a 20% service, Service lacked, Food was bland

The 20% service fee IS the employer taking responsibility. That is how they raise the price across the board to ensure a living wage.
Read moreVagrantVegan
There are other models of creating living wages for employees, but they all mean raising prices. If they didn’t have the service fee visible, it would just be integrated into the regular price.

Amazing! - Edit
My wife and ordered the sweet potato cinnamon roll to start and it was great! We then shared the Chicken and Biscuit and the Oyster PoBoy with a side of Mac n Cheese. All were delicious! Our waiter, Patrick, was very nice and helpful! If you are in the area, don’t hesitate to stop in!

For not living in Denver we come to Watercourse often, very often. Every time the food and service are exceptional! We’ve had many lunch, brunch, and pastries. It’s impossible to choose a favorite dish, so we’ll keep coming back!

Big All-Vegan Menu - Edit
This place is incredible. We had the charcuterie plate, gnocchi, and risotto and all were unique and delicious. The menu is huge so you probably will find something you like.
Read moreThe charcuterie plate is huge, containing various homemade vegan meats and cheeses, dried and fresh fruit, nuts, and bread. You could make a meal of just this plate. Great with beer and wine.
We sat outside on a beautiful summer evening in Denver and were in heaven.
Pros: Loss of vegan options, Nice outdoor seating, Charcuterie plate

Great menu, lots to choose from! - Edit
Knowing I only had one meal here, I struggled to choose from the menu, so many yummy sounding options! I absolutely loved the loaded baked potato soup! The toppings really made it, a crispy bacon crumble, sour cream, chives. My sandwich was tasty with a homemade Brie on nice crunchy bread. My niece loved her butternut risotto, but it was very spicy. We opted to head to an ice cream place, but the desserts looked amazing as well.

So yummy! - Edit
We loved eating at Watercourse. I got the cauliflower chicken with sides of mac cheese and the caesar salad. My friends tried the mushroom po’ boy and the buffalo tofu sandwich. We all really enjoyed the food. Definitely don’t miss the chocolate coconut milk shake … it was amazing! Beyond the food, Watercourse has super fun atmosphere. They have a great, shaded patio space.

Sweet lil’ LGBT+ friendly place! - Edit
Everyone who worked there was really sweet and I love that we could support an LGBT run and friendly place that is ALL vegan!! 🥰 The pretzel was AMAZING and MASSIVE, can’t recommend it enough! The portions are HUGE. We weren’t super in love with the lunch mains we got (burger and southern fried chicken) but only bc I just found the burger lacked flavour and the chicken was a bit too spicy for my partner, who still ate it but wouldn’t order it again. Overall I found the service friendly and fun, and loved the vibe of the place. We got really good vegan cupcakes to go and I’d recommend giving it a try and supporting a great business.

Food has gone downhill - Edit
The burger was bad and it had no condiments, the mac and cheese has no "cheese", and they gave me a salad with no fork. On top of that there is a back of house fee and a n expected tip of 20%. The already premium prices balloon pretty fast. I've eaten here for nearly a decade but rarely will again.

Delicious - Edit
Ordered for take out Tuesday (25% off!) and got a variety of things to try. Ordered the Caesar salad, Buffalo cauliflower, cauliflower chicken, and Cuban sandwich with fries. Caesar salad was delicious and flavorful. Buffalo cauliflower was so good and both the Buffalo and ranch sauces were perfect. I didn’t love the cauliflower fried chicken. I dunked it in ranch which made it a lot better, but I wouldn’t eat it by itself. The ranch was incredible (and I’m not a ranch person normally). I’ve never tried a Cuban before but was really impressed! Fries were great but I thought they could use more salt. Would have been 5 stars without the cauliflower fried chicken. A delicious meal overall!
