A look into the future! Try the bentos! - Edit
Weller offers a great peek into what shopping is like when you don't constantly have to think about ingredients. It really is something remarkable for someone who had completely forgotten the feeling of going into a store and just....shopping. I'm excited for the future where this will become increasingly common.
Read moreHowever, the prices keep this in the realm of 'vegan convenience store' rather than 'vegan konbini'. You will pay a markup on items here that reminds my of my own convenience stores back home in New Hampshire.
Regardless, if you are in the area, I think Weller is more than worth visiting. I wouldn't go way out of your way for it like I did though.
Lastly: Definitely try the vegan bentos! I think they are the highlight of the store; and they offer a more konbini like pricing.

Cute little store - Edit
Small, nice shop with lots of ready-made meals. There are also lots of western products (that I know from Europe). I was more interested in the Japanese products.

A vegan's paradise! - Edit
Visited on September 26, 2023. How exciting is it to find a completely vegan convenience store? While regular convenience stores in Japan have an impressive section of items, they seriously lack vegan options. Visiting Weller was a dream 😍 It was so nice to not have to check labels to see if items were vegan. I was thrilled to see the prepared meals section too, as very few (if any) regular convenience stores offer vegan prepared meals. Of course, I had to buy lots of goodies here - some to eat in Japan and some to take home 😋 Weller is a vegan’s paradise!

Vegan Conbini Dream Come True - Edit
When I heard about this place I could almost not believe it. Most conbinis have very limited vegan options. This one is fully vegan (apprently there is a corner with honey, but I must have overseen it).
Read moreThe lady working there was super kind, and I spent quite a while just checking everything out. It was so nice to not (try to) read endless labels.
It is very easy to find with Google maps. Close to Ebisu station.
Big recommendation! 💚
Pros: So many option! , As well fresh as frozen and packed food, Friendly staff

Vegan Oasis - Edit
My favorite convenience store in Tokyo. Almost everything is vegan, except a small corner with some honey. You can find snacks, beauty supplies, sauces, veggies, frozen stuff and even vegan bento boxes.

life saver! - Edit
after a couple of weeks of searching unsuccessfully for 'healthy' vegan food in tokyo i found weller. i saw it listed as a health food store so took the train down to ebisu. it was an easy 5 minute walk from the station. i walked in and asked the nice lady if she spoke english. she did. then i stood at the open refrigerator looking at all of the delicious prepared meals and asked 'is anything vegan?". she laughed and said everything was vegan aside from the litle shelf of honey in the corner. i gasped, grabbed a ton of food that was all delicious and have been back nearly every other day since. as a tourist who wants to eat healthy without any sort of kitchen here, weller has been a delightful healthy lifesaver. (will upload images next time i go)

healthy convenience store foods - Edit
This new convenience store in Ebisu deals in a large number of organic vegan products including bento boxes (756 yen -) and rice balls (130 yen) made in their kitchen downstairs
Read more"Yasai Bara-chirashi" sushi bowl (867 yen) with vegan kabayaki (mock eel) looks beautiful and tastes even better
Many items have English descriptions, but ingredient details are often written in Japanese
Fresh coffee is also available, but there is no eat-in space inside the store
