Vegan propaganda posters adorn the walls in this compact but busy restaurant. The service was efficient and the food came out quickly. I had Red Thai curry which was ok. The menu was quite extensive and on another day when I had not had such a heavy lunch I would have ordered differently and that might have resulted in a higher rating.

Lovely Asian vegan restaurant, no fuss just good food including a lot of nostalgic favourites. I had the lemongrass chicken vermicelli salad, the salad ingredients were super fresh, while the mock chicken was beautifully flavoured and textured. The tangy sauce was perfect. Great value - inexpensive and good portion sizes.

What is better than an entire menu to choose from, classic and creative Asian vegan food, and a delightful owner who generously supports his community? While staying in West End I went here four times and every time it was delicious. Be warned though, the portions are huge so you'll not need to eat again that day!

The food was delicious and it was difficult deciding what to have as there was so much on the menu. We had the dim Sims, Lemon Chicken and Thai Vegie with cashews and steamed rice.

So tasty and so reasonably priced. Our group of three ordered 4 mains, 4 entrees and a dessert and it was under $80 all up!
The gentleman who served us (owner?) was super friendly and helpful too! Can’t wait to go back again!
Update: I have returned several times since my initial review and have always left satisfied and with a full belly. Everything I’ve tried has been excellent and tastes authentic. Salty Fish Fried Rice is one of my favourite dishes.

Love this place! Have been here probably 30 times, it is my go-to for quick, delicious, healthy, fresh, cheap Asian food. It has an awesome array of classic Asian dishes, never had anything bad to say about any of the options I've tried. I recommend the cashew v-chicken, green curry, Mongolian noodles, Singapore noodles, bbq buns, and if you are looking for something to hit the sweet spot, the honey chicken is epic! The owners are always so friendly and helpful, and the vibe in the restaurant is set by lovely instrumentals of classic tunes! Try it for yourself and see😄

I just got the vegan chicken drumsticks and the "chicken" curry. The drumsticks were awesome, I was really impressed by them. The curry was nice as well, more like a standard cheaper Thai coconut curry.
Read moreThe restaurant itself is a bit rundown and the menus were pretty cheap, only a minor thing but there's a poster on the wall saying "where do vegans get their protein" or something which has some pretty misleading information on it.. like what vegan is relying on kale or spinach or tomatoes to get their protein.. anyway it was a good experience and I'll come back for more when I feel like cheap Chinese/Thai.

It’s a basic restaurant (kind of cafeteria-like) so not the kinda place you’d go for a nice date, but with that in mind the food was tasty and great value. The chow mein was a huge portion, I took home the leftovers and got another meal out of it the next day. My boyfriend predictably ordered the chick’n burger (odd choice for an Asian restaurant but he’s burger-obsessed), and enjoyed it - plus it was crazy cheap at only $10 including chips.

The owner is super nice and you will always get really friendly and accommodating service.

The staff is always very friendly and helpful, the owner is always smiling. On the menu there are lots of options and everything is vegan. Great value and big portions.
Read moreThe place is not very fancy and might not be the best choice for a date, and in some plates there is sugar, which I don’t really like, but I just avoid those plates since there is great choice anyway. Rather then that it’s a very nice vegan restaurant, we go there once a week or so :)
They have parking for customers to, which makes it easier to park in West End.

Ordered several dishes on delivery, the Mongolian noodles and the calamari were good, the honey chicken was below average and the satay sticks and pork chop with rice were very underwhelming. I think if this place sourced better ingredients and took the time to properly prepare their food with care, their food would be a lot better.
