Almost nothing for vegans at brunch - Edit
Went here with omnivore friends from out of town for brunch and my vegan partner and I cobbled together some kind of vegan bowl with a side of tofu because the kitchen could not handle mixing it into the bowl I guess?!
Read moreYes, they have a market plate option but I do not want green beans, kale with spinach & caramelized onions or carrots for brunch. I'm amazed they don't offer a tofu scramble. Server did not understand what vegan meant and had to keep getting answers from the kitchen (which I do appreciate they asked, I've been to a place in the neighborhood where we asked the server if something was vegan and they just said, 'I'm not sure' and didn't bother to find out.)
Our omni friends own several restaurants in their hometown and said their food and coffee was just awful. They chose Westville based on an internet search for good brunch places in the neighborhood. Based on their reaction and the fact we were the only people in the restaurant for most of the meal, makes me think it's time for Westville to revamp their brunch offering.
Pros: Convenient location, No trouble getting in on a Sunday morning, Server kindly tried to find what could be vegan
Cons: No vegan brunch entrees, Food was not good, Staff didn't understand what vegan meant.

Limited but clearly marked vegan options - Edit
Their regular menu offered a Beyond Burger, but they also had a vegan quinoa burger as a special. I went with the quinoa and added vegan Gouda. It was ok, but I probably wouldn't order it again. The French fries were crispy and delicious.
Read moreTheir specials menu also offered a vegan chocolate cake and ice cream, which was more like an ice cream sandwich. It was quite tasty.
Service was very slow.
