Long time customer - Edit
If I’m close enough to LBC I tend to get Chinese here as they have a nearly 50/50 menu offering vegan dupes of classics. They have meal specials which will give you drink, egg roll, and entree, so it’s very affordable for a substantial dining experience. Over the years they’ve added ramen (although I secretly miss the rice burger, which was squished between crispy rice patties instead of buns). My fave is the New Orleans chicken. The vegan items are made to order and can take some time, so be prepared to be patient.

Very worth it!!! Fresh & delish vegan Chinese options. - Edit
This place is a great find here in Long Beach. Randomly wandered in with my BF (who is not vegan) & there is options for both of us. It’s a family run biz. The son told me they’ve offered Vegan options since 2000. The food was super delish and not greasy. I’ve already returned for more & highly suggest when you wanna get your Chinese food fix.

Garlic Chick'n - Edit
Brings me back! That classic Chinese takeout we've all known and loved. I know 3 stars doesn't seem too great but I'd def come back if I was in one of those moods. It's just very very oily and relatively pricey. Had like half of it left over though!

Guilty pleasure - Edit
3.5, it's awesome but it's still fast food takeout. The vegan options take a little longer while the non vegan usuals are out front ready to order, but the wait is still pretty short. I do really appreciate the option of having a vegan hot and sour soup! That totally hits the spot. It's normally vegetarian but if you say to make it vegan they just make it without the egg.
Read morePortions are great, the staff is always open to questions, and is knowledgeable about vegan options. The menu has plenty to choose from, it's a great place to drop in.

They charge vegans 30% more for same amount of food vs meat options - Edit
For vegetarians/vegans here's the deal: the food is tasty, but, expect to be charged more for opting out of meat. Doesn't make sense to the customer base, but that's what they're doing. They also have limited combo options with vegan dishes, and it's the same type of veggie meat (long rolls you see in Asian grocery stores) cut up the same for every dish seems like, just with different flavorings. What erked me tonight was I called in for pickup (my 2nd time trying this place) since I know it takes them longer for vegan items, and then at the register they charged me extra! Guy there said "prices just went up TODAY". Well thanks for the heads up over the phone... cmon guys; nonsense. Never coming back again, will only go to pure vegetarian/vegan restaurants that don't price gouge non-meat eaters. Screw that.

Good quick food - Edit
Great place for either sit down or take out. At least 1/3rd of the menu is Vegan. They have over 50 vegan and vegetarian options according to the sign in the window. They also have vegan boba and 'milk' tea options. Staff were very friendly and gave great recommendations. Never have to wait long for our food.

Vegan "crab" rangoon - Edit
I've been waiting my whole vegan life for vegan crab rangoon. It was so good. I have no idea what it was made of other than plants but these people are making miracles happen. They also have several delicious vegan entrees that I've tried but the problem is that those take up precious stomach real estate from the real hero here.

First Time - Edit
The bowl has 1 serving of noodles/rice and meat for $7.99. The plate has 2 servings of each for a dollar more. I got the garlic chickn w/ noodles and rice and wow it’s so flavorful, super saucy, it had onion, bell pepper, peas, carrots and chili peppers. I recommend just getting noodles, the rice was kind of dry. **BYOP** (bring your own plate) because they use styrofoam for all orders. 500 years to decompose, no recycling option, toxic when hot, so much is in the ocean from blowing out of trucks and landfills! Just bring a plate, or bowl. Next time I’ll use my MSR Alpine Stowaway Pot I got from REI it’s a life changer ;)

Good vegan options - Edit
Brought the family here to try something new. We ordered a family meal that included fried rice, chow mein, 8 veggie rolls and 4 large entrees. We tried the chicken teriyaki (basically tofu with teriyaki sauce) peppered "beef", broccoli "beef", and orange "beef"
Read moreAll of these were pretty tasty. My son was not a fan of the orange beef. It was some type of ball of protein but it was hard to tell what it was. I thought it was ok but he was disappointed.
Overall, it was a good place for an asian options. They also advertise that their food is low in sodium which is nice for this type of cuisine. They also gave us a a free coconut tiramisu desert. It was great! We ended up buying the carrot cake and choclate cake options to take home. The were all made by a company called veganTiramisu.com The restaurant also serves vegan ice cream but we did not try it this time.
Pros: Low Sodium, Lots of Vegan options, Made to order
Cons: Upcharge for vegan

For vegan food its pretty darn good :] - Edit
I have been there once. I had the steamed rice, chow mein, garlic "chicken", and the "chicken"/mushrooms. That meal cost me $8, the mushrooms looked weird and the "chicken" was ok. The garlic "chicken" tastes good with the white rice. The people that work there are friendly and the actual place is a nice place to sit and eat. Overall I was very satisfied with everything and very full. I would definitely go back and try all the other veggie/vegan food they serve.

I Love Wok and Roll! - Edit
Great selection and they will literally make you whatever you want vegetarian wise... I was told that anything on the menu can be made to order, just ask and you shall receive... Everything is imported from Taiwan and is fresh and natural... no MSG or preservatives or day old buffets! This place has more vegetarian selections/options than some strictly vegetarian restaurants that I have been to!

i went to wok-n-roll for take-out of their vegetarian food. the service was fast and friendly, and the parking was easy. ordered the curry "chicken," and felt like it was kind of plain with dull veggies. could have been better.

yummy! - Edit
This place is great. The owner is very friendly and took several minutes to tell us about his restaurant. He makes all his own sauces, makes his chow mein, and has a separate cooking area for the vegetarian cooking. This is not an all veggie restaurant, but he will make pretty much anything you can think of vegetarian.
