Bon yoghourt - Edit
J’ai pris un yogourt soja avec banane crème cacahuète qui était bon, à voir ce qu’il y a d’autres en option végétalienne.

Very good - Edit
Excellent customer service, very friendly.
Read morePasta is kinda over rated for what it's worth, still taste good though.
Nice breakfast options, pizza's are also good.
Yoghurt is nice to have, especially when it's hot. Not too fancy but still very good to have and lots of possibilities to choose from fruits to chocolate.

No plant milk. That's right, they have a vegan breakfast special offer, with a hot drink, but no plant milk - Edit
The other morning I had to take a train. I went to the station early so I could grab a bite and coffee.
Read moreAs I was walking in the main underground alley, I couldn't miss a nice advertisement board about vegan breakfast combo.
Nice! I don't care for YB yoghurt (I had it in NL and I have the impression that the toppings make the yoghurt more acid), so had a vegan croissant. I also ordered "a capuccino with soy or oat, whichever you have"
"Oh, actually we dont, we only have normal milk" (sic) (sigh)
"Wait... You mean, you ran out, like, it's just a problem you have today?"
"No, we just don't have any."
"Oh, but... What about that vegan breakfast offer that includes a hot drink?"
"I know, it's absurd, I'm really sorry"
"It is absurd indeed... And surely you often have that comment?"
She nodded, embarrassed.
I paid and grabbed my croissant - luckily I still had a couple of minutes before my train to go and queue at a starbucks...
It's already awkward nowadays to find a new coffee place not offering any plant milk, but for one that advertises about a vegan breakfast... Well, Belgium is famous for it's nonsensical experiences: for vegan tourists arriving by train, this would be your first one!😄
More seriously: I suppose that this ridiculous issue will be fixed shortly, in which case, please anyone let me know, and I'll update this review! (unless they dare charge extra for plant milk, in which case I'd maintain the one star rating.)
Pros: staff is helpful
Cons: no plant milk, i mean, it's 2023!?

Good yoghurt - Edit
Small and convenient spot for breakfast in the Central Station. I had coconut yoghurt with some walnuts, vegan brownie, mango, and mango syrup. It was very nice and filling. The small size cost me 5,50€, I just picked one of the yoghurts from the menu.

Good vegan yogurts - Edit
They have several bases you can use (overnight oats, soy yogurt, and coconut yogurt) and many different toppings. There are some set items on the menu, but you can also create your own.
Read moreI've tried two different items off the menu, ans they were both really good, and even the small size is very filling as they are quite generous with thw toppings.
I also had the banana bread which was okay, but nothing special.
The place is not fully vegan though as they have several non-vegan pastries. I accidentally bought a croissant thinking it was vegan but then saw that it says it's made with butter. Although they operate from the same spot as a different place, the pastries were offered clearly as part of Yogurt Barn.
The employees are very friendly, and it's convenient when you're at the train station. But of course it's not a cozy place. Sadly they use a lot of plastic.
Pros: Very tasty and filling vegan yogurts, Friendly staff, Fair prices
Cons: Not vegan, Typical train station environment

This is how you find it... - Edit
I tried using Google Maps to find this place but it kept taking me to different places. Here is how you get there...
Read moreWhen you walk into the Central Station from the main entrance (Grand Place behind you, main ticket station on your left, Starbucks straight ahead), you walk down the staircase (very wide). This place will be on your right hand side a few meters ahead. The staircase to go to tracks 3 & 4 are across from it. The YB is located in a little shop that you can also get pizza and something else... Essentially three businesses in one.
The yogurt is really good! I got a frozen yogurt with cookies and strawberry sauce, which was excellent. A small size was more than enough. Whole thing cost about 4 euros. They let me try the soy yogurt, coconut yogurt and the overnight oats. They were all great! I think next time I'm going to get the overnight oats because they were my favorite... Although the froyo was great too.
Lots of delicious toppings available and really great service. Highly recommended!
Pros: Vegan yogurt!, Reasonably priced, Friendly service
Cons: Difficult to find

Room for improvements - Edit
Took a while to find it. It is just next to Spizzico inside the Gare Centrale.
Read moreit s so nice that there is frozen yogurt place, totally vegan. As far as I know it is the very first one so I was to excited to try. However it is a bit pricey considering that you pay each topping and syrup you wanna. if you take the medium, two toppings are not enough. also they have plastic cutlery and cups😒

Yoghurtlovers unite! - Edit
This place is a great asset for the central station. The yoghurt bar side is all vegan and the staff is very helpful! They have 4 different yoghurts and many toppings. It does get expensive fast for what it is… but flavours are good! And they even use abbot kinneys for the coconut yoghurt!
Read morePros: All vegan, Different yoghurt options also organic ones
Cons: Expensive
