Vegan Wrap - Edit
Typical coffeehouse. I came looking for the vegan croissant mentioned in a previous review. Alas, all I could find was a vegan wrap ($8.50), medium size breakfast burrito. My oat latte had the usual vegan tax of $1, so total bill was close to $20. Happy Cow said it was open until 2 but actually closes at 12:30 most days.

Delicious vegan breakfast croissant! - Edit
I love vegan croissants and was super excited to see one for sale. They served it to me hot on a plate with silverware, which I loved. Stuffed with tofu scramble, spinach, green onions, and vegan cheese. Very tasty.
Read moreThey have a pretty green couch where it’s nice to sit and relax. The other options when I came in were a wrap or brownie.
There’s an ice cream case with Marianne’s ice cream, which is a popular Santa Cruz company. They have vegan sorbet available.
Minus one star for not being fully vegan, not having more vegan pastries

Service was best part - Edit
No vegan pastries or breads (cook has been out for a week) but they did have several breakfast burritos with tofu scramble. And the barista went out of her way to put plant butter on my bagel. They also have hummus and vegan cream cheese.

A hidden gem! - Edit
We tried this place during a short visit and were delighted. The pastries from Sweet Bean were varied and delicious, and the house made breakfast wrap was very tasty. Everything was well and thoughtfully made.

More vegan options added regularly! - Edit
I was so happy to see the vegan breakfast sandwich and the breakfast chorizo burrito 🌯 I just went in there last Friday and they also added:
Read more- vegan yogurt
- vegan protein bowl
- vegan protein wrap
And a few other items. The protein bowls and wrap have green onion on them, so I'd have to pick them out (allergic) but otherwise look good. I tried the protein wrap and it was yummy!
I've been asking them when they will start offering their stuff on delivery services (since it's a little further away from me) and they said they plan to very soon.
I know they are often trying new vegan menu items to see how they do, and I'm so glad for multiple options. Give them a try for a quick "coffee-and-a-meal" 😊
Pros: Regularly adds new vegan options, Not terribly overpriced like other places, Good coffee!
Cons: Not on delivery services like door dash yet, Back to outdoor only seating right now

Wonderful place. - Edit
Mostly vegan. Moving to 100% vegan.
Read moreI usually get a breakfast English muffin sandwich or breakfast burrito to eat there. Both vegan versions include cheese, sausage/chorizo, just egg, and hash browns. I also take a vegan pastry from Sweet Bean Bakery to go. I like the ham and cheese croissant.
New owners are very nice and moving towards a 100% plant based menu. They have other vegan snack items too.
Seating outside.
Pros: Vegan pastry, breakfast sandwiches and burritos , Great coffee and tea, fantastic vegan chai, To late in the day dir coffee? Wine!

Best Coffee Shop Vegan Breakfast around these parts BY FAR!!! - Edit
Had a early DELICIOUS early breakfast and again brunch at Zizzo's Coffeehouse & Wine Bar in Capitola today for the first time: Their Vegan Breakfast Burrito (all plant-based of course, it’s stuffed with hash browns, Just Egg, Cheese and Chorizo with a side of salsa—we requested panini pressed—so good!!!) along with Chai w/Oat Milk (rivals White Raven’s chai in Felton —normally my favorite—shame they don’t carry anything Vegan worth eating). Went back later for Zizzo’s Vegan Breakfast Sandwich (an English Muffin stacked with sausage, hash browns, Just Egg and Cheese)—Super-impressive! 🤗💓 DAAAAAANG… !!! And this place is *swanky* too—Beautiful AND Delicious! 💖 The owners Tara and Joshua are incredibly friendly and joyful—She even gave us a complimentary treat they haven’t started carrying officially because their Sweet Bean pastries sold out in a flash—Seriously Loved everything so much, it’s definitely worth the trip from Santa Cruz (or anywhere)! They’re on the right track all the way!
