Called here while visiting Tivoli for some tea. We ordered the rice bowl & quesadillas. They were rather tasty and proved to be a nice stop off while walking round the park. If you like Mexican it’s got plenty of options & it’s easily customisable too.

Every item on the menu can be ordered vegan, including quesedillas with vegan cheese. For most items you have to specify the desired protein, vegan options are "plant based strips", jackfruit and black beans. Some ingredients such as chipotle cream will be left out without replacement when ordered vegan.

Seriously, if you have that urge for Mexican, go here - you won't be disappointed. Nice selection of vegan options, great taste. They can make everything on the menu vegan! Just had their vegan soft tacos three ways and they are really good. Worth a visit.

We got the smoky quesadillas with jackfruit and vegan cheese, and the el gallo burrito with the protein chicken strips. Both were really enjoyable. I preferred the burrito and it was far more substantial for your money, but the smoke flavour of the quesadillas was lovely. The food itself was reasonably priced, but for some reason drinks all over Copenhagen are extortionate.

I'm used to burritos in the southwest US that tend towards the spicier side. The burrito I had at Zocalo was not that, but instead was rather delicately spiced. The nuance was great, as was the portion size. Would eat here again.

Zocalo is a food stall at Tivoli food court – so you could grab some food there, and your friends somewhere else. It is open for the public, you don‘t need to visit Tivoli to eat there. There‘s indoor seating but also a much nicer outdoor terrace.

I had food there on two occasions and have tried tacos and a burrito, and also both protein options. Everything was delicious! The burrito was quite big, difficult to eat but a filling meal. Most taco and burrito options contain non-vegan ingredients like cheese or sauces, but staff knows what vegan is and what to avoid when they prepare your meal – just ask. Tacos and burritos cost 99 DKK which are normal prices in Denmark. Would definitely go there again.
